So god created enough heat, before creating the sun, in order for plants to exist.
Where is that reply in the OP Survey?
Opps, my bad, Sorry, I should have written an option in the OP polling question responses for there being other explanations that could please be provided of how the Earth was heated without the Sun.

According to the Genesis Creation account, the Sun was created on Day 4, and plants were created beforehand on Day 3. I'm curious to know, What heated the Earth for plants to survive between Genesis Creation Day 3 and Day 4?
The church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints switched the order.

You seem to be misinterpreting the original idea of Light, which was translated from Hebrew (yehi) and does not mean physical light, but rather the phrase 'let there be light' means 'let creation begin'.

The sun was created on the 4th day, so either god doesn't understand how plants grow and survive, or the men who wrote the bible didn't.

You seem to be confusing the lights/stars of the expanse (Genesis 1:7) with the light which was separated from the darkness, whereas you have morning and evening (Genesis 1:5). Sentence deleted by moderator

What? Are you saying the "Latter-day Saints" have their own bible? What is it called?
The Latter-day Saints have a Bible. It's called the Bible. They like the King James Version and they like the original Hebrew and Greek text even more.

We also have the Book of Mormon. It is another testament of Jesus Christ. If you think the Bible says there can be no more Bible, quote this post and I will respond.

Oh and I have heard the days were not written in order anyway in the original Torah.

Come on now. I read the "Book of Mormon" around 50 years ago, and it appeared to be the testament of mostly a guy by the name of Moroni, transcribed by a guy named Joseph Smith. Mostly in the form a historical presentation based around wandering Jews, and their journey to the Americas. And Yeshua specifically stated that there could be additions and subtractions from the prophecy of this book (Revelation 22:19), but to do so, held the prospect of having some problems, and that the message of the devil, will be planted beside the message of the son of man, in the same field/book (Matthew 13). What I am saying is beware of Greeks, or anyone bearing gifts. Look inside the mouth of the horse you find on your front porch, even if presented by two witnesses. The foundation laid down by Joseph Smith, was if you wanted your kingdom in heaven, that you would have to have multiple wives. That mantra was upheld by his LDS followers, which historically included taking women from the men they were married to. I don't know, I have nothing against having multiple wives in principle, but put into practice, it could be problematic, but taking another man's wife, kind of didn't work out for king David. As for the LDS bible, I was thinking about a LDS edition of the King James, and how is it different? What are the additions and subtractions, apart from those made by the Roman Catholic Church?

Most LDS adults are single widow divorce and we don't need polygamy now. The bom explains when to do polygamy.

You seem to be confusing the lights/stars of the expanse (Genesis 1:7) with the light which was separated from the darkness, whereas you have morning and evening (Genesis 1:5). I think someone lacks basic understanding of what is plainly written, which probably can be traced back to a defective education system.
In other words, you have no idea what I just explained and you decided instead to attempt to be condescending to me by implying I'm poorly educated.

If God can create them, God can provide for them (until he automates the heating by creating the sun).

Русским мужчинам повезло, потому что их согревают теплом красивые русские женщины суровой зимой.

Perhaps it is due to compassion rather than luck?

Plants require sunlight to live, not heat
God created the EverReady Energizer Bunny to power heat lamps, until they got the sun online. They may have used a long extension cord from the sun to charge the batteries, but, as the earth orbited, it wrapped around the sun and burned up.

Since all that is supposed to be supernatural, it might be futile to look for natural explanations. A bit like: where did Jonah find the oxygen to live three days inside a big tuna?

I was referring mostly to your original LDS leadership, including Joseph Smith. Polygamy is now not an acknowledged doctrine of the LDS because of political pressure from the U.S. government, although off shoot sects continue on in the original dogma. If present LDS leaders practice polygamy, they would have to do it behind closed doors. Hey, I believe in having more than one wife, but as in the case of Solomon, one should not multiply wives, for the sake of one's sanity, if not for the sake of the children involved. My understanding was that Joseph Smith and the early Utah leaders also took wives from other living men. They took widows to supposedly increase the extent of their personal kingdom. I don't know how that would affect the kingdom of the dead husband. I have read no comments on that predicament, but since it isn't true, I didn't ask.

Since supposedly a whale ate Jonah, not some tuna, and whales breath air, it becomes less implausible, but it could just be the submarine from 20000 leagues under the sea who ventured into a worm hole and came up next to Jonah. The bible is a series of parables, mostly phrased to keep the "many" in the dark. The more important question is do the "Christians" teach that Yeshua was buried for 3 days and 3 nights, or do they have another story.

According to my Biblical recollections, it was a big fish. I am aware that at the time of Scriptures people (or God, if He was the author thereof) could not say the difference between mammals and fish/birds, since they also confused bats with birds. Nevertheless, if it was a big fish, it could not have been possibly be a whale. So, a tuna is more plausible.

I just wonder how he smelled after three days inside a tuna.

Ask me anything about the church of Christ.
First, it was one day. They would have been fine. Second, light was created before the objects meant to emit it. There was already light, just not a sun, moon or stars. And before you ask how, you know my answer will be God. I think that the universe was still an open system at this time, and that the laws of the universe hadn't yet been set in stone. The Bible says that the work of creation wasn't finished until day seven, when it says God rested, rested meaning stopped, from His work which He had done. But I have no proof for that idea. It just makes sense to me.
