Here's a recent example where some thought I was against a trans person which brought on this post.

The thread I posted about a trans person dominating female athletes. Its not the trans person that bothers me, its what they are doing that does. I think its unfair to the other females.

I believe in treat others fairly, live your life and let others live theirs, don't be an *** because someone is different than you or disagrees with you. We all only get one life, there is no rewind or redo button...live to be happy and let others do the same.

I’m generally indifferent to people and their opinions.
I try my best to be amicable but being Australian, our communication skills tend to be “blunt” to put it mildly. So I recognise I might come across more harsh than I am trying to be. Simply because I’m not always the most polite with my language. Also I’m usually drunk lol

I usually have nothing bad to say about anyone. I might say something harsh about someone’s opinion. That’s not the same as saying something about the person though. And I think that’s where a lot of defensiveness and animosity comes from. People get attached to their opinions and when those are rebuked they feel attacked. As if their opinion is part of their personality. Which I suppose is true. But I feel like people tend to take their opinions very seriously lol

I get what you're trying to say, there is never a need to say something bad about anyone. Even if you can say something bad about them. I knew a dear sister (older lady in the truth) who was known for finding something good to say about everyone. Well one time someone asked her, but what good can you say about Satan the Devil? She replied, "He's persistent." Which is true.

Many of the traits we have can be used for good or bad. And usually it's a mixed bag. I wouldn't go as far as say that nobody is a bad person. In fact I wouldn't even say we are not bad people. When someone tried to call Jesus a "good" person he didn't even except the compliment, stating that there is only one truly good person and that is Jehovah God.

"As he was going on his way, a man ran up and fell on his knees before him and put the question to him: “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit everlasting life?” 18 Jesus said to him: “Why do you call me good? Nobody is good except one, God."-Mark 10:17, 18.

And Jesus did say that he came to call sinners to repentance. He never condoned a person's lifestyle if it was in conflict with God's will. But neither did he judge them. When he came to the earth he even said he did not come to judge but to save. He showed sinners love, kindness, and mercy. And that love, when people were moved by it, made them change to become better people, to repent, and to turn to serve God. That should be the goal of any true follower of Christ. Not to judge others. Rather show them love, and help some to attain to repentance from sin.

I cannot say this, amd I am unashamed and unapologetic I can't. If someone willfully refuses to get vaccinated I have A LOT of bad things to say.
Some things, like supporting Trump, is a red flag. Not sorry, a state loaded with his supporters did, via legislation, do an injustice to me and opened me up to further harm. Vast swaths of his supporters don't like me, believe I should be open to and accepting of harassment, amd believe I should be expected to put myself in dangerous situations, even denied treatment. **** 'em.
It's the same with theism. Many of them have no respect for me (would even have me killed) no I have no respect for them.
LGBT isn't a choice and it effects no unless they let it. There is a difference between something someone just is (such as, it's not the fault of someone with Tourette's for having tiks) and what someone chooses to do (like politics). The former is of no fault, harms no one and people need to butt out and mind their own business and quit being jackasses. The later depends on what people do with it.
In short, it's about character rather than labels. My best friend and her family supported Trump, but also we've had each other's back through thick and thin for almost 20 years, and they're really good people. They don't care I'm trans amd are supportive and accepting.

I recall the OP that was posted concerning an UPenn swimmer . This subject about trans gendered athletes is new to me and I don't want to insult anyone by using any wrong terminology while expressing my opinions. Of course, it can happen accidentally. It's a difficult problem trying to be fair to all athletes and coming up with a formula that will be fair for all concerned. It is helpful for those who do understand the correct terminology addressing trans gendered athletes to help us less informed folk to learn the accepted terms to use....

I don't think it's possible for anyone with empathy or a sense of justice or any of a number of other human personality traits to be able to say they can let others live their lives, if the others are in a position to injure someone else by their actions. Whether you intervene physically to stop someone from abusing an animal or a child, or you intervene socially by publicly condemning racists for their behavior, or intervene politically by voting for legislation which protects the unprotected.

Everyone judges people though. It's an automated response we often don't have control over, often aren't even aware of because it is a part of being human.

I try to do that but I think it's mostly people's actions that cause others to dislike them, so hopefully most people can do the above. I guess if you stereotype someone just knowing an attribute about them, you won't be able to think objectively.
