This is not nearly as controversial as the other thread that I started involving Veritasium. This simply asks what shape would a rope have that is hanging from a moving helicopter.

I just watched that video before I saw your post. I wasn't sure if it would be "b" or "c" but I guessed "c". Turned out the force the rotor exerts on the rope is negligible. Astonishing when you think about how much force there seems to be towards the ground when a helicopter is starting or landing.
