We Never Know

If we're visitors, where's our home?
Do you have limited time here? If yes then we are just visiting here because we will eventually leave this world we know.

Where is home?? Who knows. I don't.

We don't actually own our body. I can only remember running and competing at athletics. This body is changing faster than I care to mention. It's taking doctors and operations to keep me in this world. This miracle of life and it has been entertaining is running out of steam. I don't care about any material property actually just want to keep my loved ones alive, healthy and happy.

The thought behind the verse in the OP is to say, nothing in the dunya (the temporal world) is worth holding on to, the saying does not only belong in sufism, but can be implemented by anyone who see the world as a temporarily existence. The saying is a part of sufi teaching and will be repeated by those who practice within sufism.

We already live inside the heavens.

When a theist says heavens as home they think clouds above us.

I know clouds are only clouds.

But our mind knows above us is only heavens. Without our water oxygenated life. Consciousness knows we die by lack of oxygen in our body.

So knowing is aware advice as we live.

If I knowingly say a higher place by meaning. Not on the ground. Without oxygen then consciously I spiritually know. When I am not a human.

To a spiritual human we own one more spirit after bodily death. As an eternal self who had sent the human out of its body.

Our answer is I did it to myself hence I am living a karmic dream until life released.

As virtually we entered into a chemical environment. Why we discuss what we became spiritually aware of.

Which is not any scientific advice. As human by experience is personal.
