I would suggest pornography is very much like religion in this context;

An inevitable consequence of natural human thought.
Lots of people are involved in it (as producers and consumers) without causing any measurable harm, to themselves or others.
Some people get too obsessed with it and therefore can end up causing harm.
Some people take advantage of it's existence for their own personal gain, often causing harm to others in the process.

I'd also suggest that you shouldn't let your Dogma drive your Karma (their paws don't reach the pedals :cool:).

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
I believe in karma and reincarnation too,
thats why im trying to know things that i think maybe will help me to get over such things...

so you are saying that nobody is affected in here ? in this situation?
If karma was that punitive, we would be living in a perfect world by now.

Exploitation? Didn't they get paid to act and act of their own free will? How is this exploitation?
Not all "actors" get paid or get paid what their performance is worth. There is exploitation in all forms of business and it is more prevalent in some. Sex work, due to stigma and illegality is prone to it.
But it isn't inherent to the industry, it is inherent to capitalism. You are more likely to participate in exploitation when you buy a t-shirt (made in Bangladesh) than when watching an adult movie.

In fact, what I've read on the subject suggests that none of the actors ever actually get paid what their performance is worth. They forfeit all rights to the finished product and to the proceeds of its distribution - on top of the harassment, discrimination and abuse they receive from people both inside and outside the industry for doing the job they do.

As a rule, it seems to me that the subject of a photoshoot or movie has almost no rights to what happens with their image; and while it is the photographer who will receive all monetary benefits and accolades, it is the subject that will receive most of the negativity associated with the work in question.

All I have to say is................ post some links or it's no fun. We are in a religious forum, so it's only appropriate to post up links to religious themed porn.

And I'm pretty sure the majority of atheists atheist members in here won't mind that much. It's not like le haven't heard people expressing their love God and Jesus Crihrist.
