Boss just complained about some typos I made, therefore time for typo humor...

The worst typo I saw came from a gamer friend years ago. I demanded that he come over and smell my sock. He said something akin to "you're telling me to drive all the way over to your state so I can come smell your sweaty [insert word here]. I can tell you it wasn't sock, but was spelled about the same, though it started with with a C. He was rather conservative in manners, and I think I could feel his embarrassment several states away...

Another favorite was came from a packaging box I encountered as a kid. The box had come from Fort Worth, Texas. It said Fart Worth, Texas.

One of my favourites was, in fact, one of my own (I blush to admit).

I used to produce a newsletter for Toronto's gay baseball league. It was called "Diamond Dust."

In one issue, there was the announcement of a contest among all members and friends, basically to raise money for AIDS -- specifically in support of our best-known hospice, Casey House.

Well, the final line in the announcement -- as typed and printed by me, for the whole league to see, read:

"The winner will receive a plague."

Darn those g's and q's -- they'll get you every time.

It Aint Necessarily So

Not exactly a typo, but I read a story about a woman using voice recognition software telling a friend that she had stuffed her camouflage themed tote bag full, which she called a camo tote. It came out camel toe. She didn't notice before she sent it.

I actually misread that last word the exact same way your friend did. How do you do this to us? :tongueout:

The box had come from Fort Worth, Texas. It said Fart Worth, Texas.

Lol. A package that I had received not long ago from India identified our country as United State.

*Laughs like Onslow*

I don't get it. Is it something to do with the placement of the cones?
