Sometimes I think I'm the only person who finds salmon gross...
I don't find salmon gross but it is not my favourite. I usually fry mackerel in fillets, with some grains of coarse salt on the skin side. And a rocket and lemon juice salad on the side. The French eat them with a gooseberry sauce. I've never tried it - but then gooseberries are so hard to find nowadays.
What's regular vinegar? I mean, is it from white wine, red wine, sherry, cider or malt (spirit vinegar)? I've got all of these in the cupboard - plus some rice vinegar my son got for a Chinese dish he once made.Just regular vinegar. And a side salad is best
