Probably not or I've unknowingly eaten a lot whale meat....
I was a good customer at one particular restaurant. Sometimes they would give me different things. Once they gave me something I had not seen before. It tasted a bit beefy and fishy. My first thought was "On no". I asked if it was whale meat and it was.

If might be cultural but I could not do that purposefully.

Why?

Cows and pigs are not very sentient. I don't think that the same can be said of whales.

I was under the impression that pigs were fairly intelligent; at least as smart as dogs.

I don't know about cows, but I had one follow me around with its tail wagging at the pettings zoo about a week ago. It was adorable.

I don't know much about whales, though. Are they pretty intelligent?

I've drunk ant beer, so don't see why not.
It was very tasty, actually. Have had it multiple times.
