Believing that , is harmful for the soul, because it made me so miserable I simply gave up and went crazy! It created more tension and misery. It ironically made me more perverted and more focused on sex, trying to repress the desire to relieve myself.

Do you think it's possible to turn the act into an act of love, adoration, or offering to a spirit-entity that is a patron of sexuality? I know that if I was a Deity, and people were thinking about me when they masturbated, and prayed for my exaltation when they climaxed, I would be flattered and mildly amused rather than offended. Maybe there are Deities or Sprits (Kami) with that attitude?

Maybe the gods aren't offended if we channel the energy the right way or something (turn it into a prayer) lol

I find that while there are certainly mood shifts involved in abstinence and release, finding the right masturbatory balance is very helpful for me. Too little and my soul becomes ready to erupt in an explosion of desire, too much and my soul lies limp and raw and needs a rest.
