Abiogenesis

So obviously the temperature of earth after formation for 1 billion yrs was perfect for life to arise. That sucks we’ll never be able to replicate that to validate the theory of abiogenesis.

so it took 1 billion years for non living matter to develop into single celled organisms.

Then it took 3.5 billion yrs. for single celled organisms to become multicellular organisms.

Multicellular organisms have dominated the last 1 billion yrs.

this seems weird. One would think it would’ve taken a shorter time for single celled organisms to become multicellular organisms given that it only took 1 billion years for non living matter to evolve into living single celled organisms. I mean humans emerged 6 million years ago. Look at us now. Something seems off.

who knows, it probably was the heat that sped things up during the transition from non living to living.
Maybe we’ll discover some of those pre single celled living things in outer space in the future.

What makes you think that the abiogenesis cannot be validated? And it is still in the hypothetical stage, though there is quite a bit of evidence for it. It is the leading explanation right now. Mainly because it is well supported by evidence and there is none for any other model, at least that I know of.

And your timing is a bit off. Multicellular organisms first appeared about 1.56 billion years ago or perhaps even a little earlier:

"The classic 1952 Miller–Urey experiment and similar research demonstrated that most amino acids, the chemical constituents of the proteins used in all living organisms, can be synthesized from inorganic compounds under conditions intended to replicate those of the early Earth."

It looks like you are trying to read about the topics of evolution, abiogenesis etc. What sources are you reading them from? It would be good if your sources are scientifically accurate, as internet has a lot of misinformation on this. Some of us can get you good sources if you need them.

Yeah read that
Doesn’t say much though regarding 1 billion yrs of evolution

No I’ve read it before. Just posting a topic is all

Why would it? That test had a very specific purpose. When a thinker does not fully understand something. And that will happen to any thinker, he asks proper questions. At the time of that test creationists and some others thought that it was impossible for amino acids to form on their own. That experiment showed that they were wrong. It is also the first experiment in the field of abiogenesis that I know of, and therefore the first evidence for it. There has been a lot of progress since then.

The present evidence indicates that life most likely began in gas vent caverns around the spreading zones of the earth during the beginnings of continental drift. These environments can be replecated today and exist along the rift spreading zones under the oceans. A question some ask is why does not abiogenesis take place today? The answer is the competition is to great with current life, and could not compete.

I believe in the near future science will work out how life could take place and relicate3 in a lab.

It still tells me nothing about how non living matter evolved into Single celled organisms over 1 billion years. It gives a grain of sand of information in a bucket that needs to filled but obviously will never be is all I was saying.
