You believe, then, that the universe was created by magic?I believe God created the earth. I don’t believe it was formed over billions of years.
How does magic work? How do you apply it to create a universe?

“Oh oh oh it’s magic ya know”You believe, then, that the universe was created by magic?

The three first things which stand out are sin as an intruder crouching by your door, a snake that speaks, and a tree or fruit which gives knowledge. First of all sin does not crouch. It doesn't have power to act without a person. Secondly snakes do not talk. Thirdly trees and fruit do not give knowledge when eaten.I believe God created the earth. I don’t believe it was formed over billions of years. I’ve always thought believers rejected evolution theories but I’ve come to learn many accept it. I don’t quite understand this reasoning but I respect it nonetheless. If you fall into this group feel free to share your reasoning.
Thanks.Science is great. Love it. It can only go back so far then it’s mere speculation. That’s where spirituality comes in for me and speculates a bit better than science.
The Torah and science are very deep so I would encourage people not to reject them out of hand.I believe God created the earth. I don’t believe it was formed over billions of years. It would explain nothing to you but not for me. It’s quite Straightforward so explanation isn’t requiredThanks.
My own view is that it's within the bounds of possibility that the universe came into being through physical processes, and it's therefore reasonable to continue seeking to identify just what they were and explain how they worked.
Whereas it seems to me that the alternative you suggest, even were it somehow possible, would explain nothing, nor even seek to.
I wouldnt encourage rejection either. Live and let liveThe Torah and science are very deep so I would encourage people not to reject them out of hand.
Religious belief is quite easy as it requires nothing more than to accept the stories. they tend to be simple and lack many details, which through the history of humanity we have benefitted greatly knowing. Religious views answer nothing that helps us survive and thrive. It can provide meaning to some people, but there are other alternatives that are equally meaningful. You using your computer is due to the sciences you reject doing their work despite views like yours. If all people adopted your views how advanced do you think humanity would be today? It would explain nothing to you but not for me. It’s quite Straightforward so explanation isn’t required
I think you might be going a little overboard hereReligious belief is quite easy as it requires nothing more than to accept the stories. they tend to be simple and lack many details, which through the history of humanity we have benefitted greatly knowing. By asking you a question? Do you have an answer?I think you might be going a little overboard here
Evolution is not science. Evolution is a form of scientism. It is a belief of intellectuals and their groupies. There is no real evidence for evolution. There is only confirmation by conjecture. But the kicker is that conjecturing with theory of design can also generate the same conclusions.I believe God created the earth. I don’t believe it was formed over billions of years. No, just your whole post.By asking you a question? Do you have an answer?

Nonsense. Evolution is an observed fact. The theory of evolution explains what is observed and is science.Evolution is not science. Evolution is a form of scientism. But the kicker is that conjecturing with theory of design can also generate the same conclusions.
The rhetoric of theistic evolutionist is identical to that of an atheist groupie. So what is the difference? There is none. So listening to atheist about the Divine Workings of the universe is a bit absurd. Your tolerance is admirable, but consider the absence of Adam in the context of the bible. There is no place for evolution in Christianity (refer to Dennis Venema and the conclusion he embraces).
The only people that make this claim tend to be the ones that do not understand what science is, what scientific evidence is, and what scientism is. Congratulations! You are fractally wrong.Evolution is not science. Evolution is a form of scientism. It is a belief of intellectuals and their groupies. There is no real evidence for evolution. There is only confirmation by conjecture. But the kicker is that conjecturing with theory of design can also generate the same conclusions.

There is no theory of design. It is meaningless. Can you explain in more detail what you mean about the "theory of design"?
There is no theory of design. It is meaningless.
I don’t believe it was formed over billions of years despite the evidence.
"Billions" is excessive". Tens of millions would be more reasonable. Is there evidence that the earth was formed over billions of years?
