Trump's strong support / Democrats' lack of support, by white women

Is it concerning that statistically, about as many white women tend to vote for Trump in elections as the Democrat candidates who ran against him? And could this be the result of Democrat runners ignoring the needs of white women? If so, how are they doing so?

Yes, it’s concerning. I do not think it has much to do with Democratic policy though. Politics these days is about populist sound bites, catchy phrases, and groupthink media/echo chambers.

I do not think the future is bright. I ought to stop now before I recede into full misanthropy.

It's really simple.

Trump had accomplished more promises than Democrat's did, so naturally people are going to the person that keeps more promises in their interests than those that break them.

Well, you have to admit that the democrats don't have a good track record when it comes to (creepy) presidential candidates and how those candidates treated women. (Jimmy Carter & Obama excepted.)

Grab 'em by the *****, Trump, trumps all of them by several light years. The foul, obese orange groper in chief. Are you saying women prefer Trump's slimy paws on their bodies over the others?

Could be, although I've generally attributed it to the influence of middle America and the religious right. One thing I've noticed about Democrats and liberals is that many of them seem out of touch with vast sections of the U.S., and this has not only cost them votes among women, but also among blue-collar workers in general. And they used to be the party of working people.

In recent years, Democrats have ostensibly made it their priority to suck up to celebrities, limousine liberals, and other wealthy coastal types, while all but abandoning the working classes and middle America. That's why so many voted for Trump.

Funny thing is, it would be so easy for the Democrats to put the Republicans away entirely in an election, if only they would stop sucking up to big business.

I dunno, I cite Kennedy and Clinton as notorious womanizers. LBJ was corrupt. Al Gore is a slime ball with policies almost the same as Bush's, except Bush wasn't nearly as slimy as Gore.

They're all over Google. In this case, you're best off googling the situation and picking the sources you consider relevant to you.

Here's one from a site that tends to favor the left:

Of Course White Women Voted for Trump Again

But like I said, in this case, it's best off using Google and picking a source you agree with / respect. Or if you see flaws in the data, we can talk about that.

I know that many here immediately leap to criticizing
the source. But it's still worth supporting claims that
aren't already well known.

Why would you not choose the candidate who actually did what he said he would in many areas, regardless of his personality.

Oh, so a person's character doesn't count? Really, a Christian would say that? Do you remember Jesus' words of "Render unto Caesar..."?
