If both are eternal then love between them is coeternal.Does that mean the Holy Spirit is not coequal and coeternal?

If both are eternal then love between them is coeternal.Does that mean the Holy Spirit is not coequal and coeternal?
Hello URAVIP2ME I hope all is well...
I reply... Christians worship Jesus because: Jesus is God!
Jesus lets them worship him he does NOT stop anyone from worshipping him! The wise men at his birth worship him.. The Apostles worship Him as he rises up into heaven!
Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water.
Revelations 14:7
He said in a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water.”
Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
URAVIP2ME Jesus made everything..... Worship him who made everything!
Scriptures tell you.... "Jesus is God".. Thomas tells you... "Jesus is God"! Jesus tells Thomas and YOU..... All who believe Jesus is God are blessed!
URAVIP2ME The God of the Christian is almighty.. Clearly your god (Small "g") is not! Your god cannot take any form he wants to take! Your god cannot take the form of a Burning bush, Smoke, Fire, Pure Silence, Dove , a Man, or Bread! Christians have always worshiped Jesus because Jesus is God! Thomas the Apostle is a Christian!
You said... earthly Jesus only has one God... Right you are, the MAN Jesus had a God in heaven, Jesus is a lowly man; men are made lower then angels! Jesus "The Man" was formed created in Mary's womb lower then the Angles! Jesus the MAN on EARTH... All men are lower then angels ON EARTH! All men die because "ALL MEN have sin!" ALL MEN Jesus is the exception he is the second man to not have sin Adam was the first!
6 But there is a place where someone has testified:
“What is mankind that you are mindful of them,
a son of man that you care for him?
7 You made them a little lower than the angels;
you crowned them with glory and honor
8 and put everything under their feet.
IN HEAVEN all men are raised to a higher level then the angels!
.....Premise proposed: The Holy Spirit is the love between God and Jesus. That means the Holy Spirit is not equal to God and Jesus.....
......"US" Plural.. More then one!...... God is three; God would not be God without three (3)... Can't love yourself that is NOT LOVE! God is PERFECT! God is LOVE! To love you need another someone to love!
1 John 4:16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.
.That does not answer the question.
Premise proposed: The Holy Spirit is the love between God and Jesus.
That means the Holy Spirit is not equal to God and Jesus.
If you didnt make that proposition, the question is not relevant to you. If you hold to that proposition, your answer is not relevant to the question I asked.
I hope you understand. Trying to prove the trinity with scripture does matter to this question. The question presupposes the Trinity is true.
Yes, Scripture does teach those resurrected to Heaven are higher than the angels - Daniel 7:18; Daniel 7:22.
They become Not angels, but become ' saints / holy ones '.
These are like the people mentioned at Luke 22:28-30; Revelation 2:10; Revelation 20:6.
Those called to Heaven serve with Christ for a thousand years as: kings and priests.- Revelation 5:9-10.
As Kings those saints/holy ones will work at taking care of governmental duties towards people of Earth.
As Priests they will have the job of caring for spiritual duties towards people living on Earth.
Their job or position will last for a thousand years according to 1 Corinthians 15:22-26.
Once our ' last enemy death ' is destroyed then mankind will No longer need their heavenly service.
Scripture proposed: At Psalms 104:30 it says when God sends forth His spirit things are created.
For or because of God's spirit is then how we exist - Acts of the Apostles 17:28
So, the spirit is Not God Himself but His energy force used to accomplish God's wishes.
Bible writers were moved by God's spirit to write down Scripture for us - 2 Peter 1:21; 2 Timothy 3:16-17
Yes, God's spirit is Not equal to God nor to Jesus, and God's spirit is a neuter "it" - Numbers 11:17; Numbers 11:25.
See also: Nehemiah 9:20; Acts of the Apostles 2:17 A.
.
John 4:24, Jesus says “God is spirit and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”
firedragon good question.. Holy Spirit is equal to God and Jesus.
Right off.... If there is a Prefect God then there is TWO.. Can't be One because God is LOVE!
If there is a Perfect God there MUST be two...
firedragon Perfect Love produces fruit, it creates!
In progression.... If there is a PERFECT God then there must be THREE! The split second (so we can wrap our mind around it God always was)! The split second there is a God there MUST be three (3)!
The Western Church commonly uses a version of the Nicene creed which has the Latin word filioque (“and the Son”) added after the declaration that the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father.
Scripture reveals that the Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son. Just as the Father externally sent the Son into the world in time, the Son internally proceeds from the Father in the Trinity.
The Father sends the Son the Son sends the Holy bSpirit! The Holy Spirit Internally proceeds from both Father and Son in the Trinity. This is why the Spirit is referred to as the Spirit of the Son (Gal. 4:6) and not just the Spirit of the Father (Matt. 10:20).
The beginning of the creation by God according to John at Revelation 3:14.
.
The basic proposal on the Trinity from a Catholic perspective is that Jesus and the Holy Spirit are of the "essence" of God.Premise proposed: The Holy Spirit is the love between God and Jesus.
That means the Holy Spirit is not equal to God and Jesus.
The basic proposal on the Trinity from a Catholic perspective is that Jesus and the Holy Spirit are of the "essence" of God.
It's another person's right to believe in what they decide to believe. Please convey that to those who propose something different.
I actually did get it "right" from the Catholic Church's perspective, which is not to say that I personally believe that it is [I reserve judgement].nevertheless, if you want to discuss the trinity as a concept, its a good topic, and maybe you just didnt get that right in your statement above. Not completely right.
.So in your theology also they are not equal?
It's another person's right to believe in what they decide to believe.

Hello firedragon you have it a little wrong...
Let me put it this way....
If there is NO Holy Spirit then there is NO God... If there is NO Holy Spirit then God would not be perfect!
If there is NO Jesus (The Word) then there would be NO God... God would not be perfect!
If there is NO God the father then would n0t be The Word Or the Holy Spirit! .. CAN'T...
firedragon can't have one without the other two! MUST..
firedragon must have three (3) or there is no God!
Jesus preceded from the Father the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Son!
THEY ARE ALL EQUAL ALL ARE GOD!
There MUST be three each is important!
22 And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.”
become like one of us
But only some do the studying. It's another person's right to believe in what they decide to believe.
But only some do the studying.
God is LOVE! New Testament! You keep trying to prove the trinity with some verses from the OT. Its irrelevant. And your apologetics are uninformed and wrong as a matter of fact. Yet its irrelevant so I will definitely not address that.
Have a great day.
Can't love self You need another to have perfect love. LOGIC!
