Lately there's been talk of "patriots" & "true patriots".
I don't know the difference....but it seems ominous.
But some of us aren't patriots. Not traitors either.
So.....
"Naytriot"

So fellow posters, what needed words do you see?

I thought you said parrots. I didn't know what a true parrot was. I was freakin' baffled for a second. Fraffled really.

How about CoUS? Citizen of Unusual Sastisfaction. If you are cantankerous, you could an ornery CoUS.

'Creacher' a preacher who finds ways to talk down about other ministers, scare people away from visiting other churches or otherwise frighten people into staying in the fold.

"Some preachers say whim wham, friends, but thankfully in this place we preach the full gospel. God has blessed us here as a result. And some ministers are always talking bad about other ministers. Well that's not what we do here."

In my opinion this is the difference.

Tamyra Mensah-Stock

True patriot: Works hard, doesn't blame race or the system for every possible failure in life that could have or did happen to and not a professional victim. Does not let their skin color be an obstacle, takes the best this country has to offer while fighting the worst it has to offer and still succeeds. Never brings up race or gender (M/F). Work hard, succeed and ignore all the idiots and haters no matter your skin color.

You can watch her post gold medal win interview. Its ONLY the media making about her being a black female

Megan Rapinoe

Patriot: Works hard, succeeds but constantly using the freedoms of this country to whine and complain about everything.

Also, ironic the white girl is kneeling while the black one isn't

A lot of patriots are parrots. They squawk and constantly repeat what others tell them. And they poop, too. But they have beautiful plumages.

"Average citizen" seems applicable when we mute the Loony Left and Risible Right.

Does it matter the color of a person or sex of a person.
She obviously feels passionate about something and is making a statement.

The freedom to do so, still exists.

Patriots are the real thing. "True patriot" is a Janus word, a contranym, having the opposite meaning of what it appears to say. "True patriots" are the ones that try to overthrow elections and in general make everybody uncomfortable. The only appropriate name for them is the name given to them by Samuel Johnson, who claimed that "(such) patriotism is the last refuge of a Scoundrel."

So if you are not a traitor -- meaning you would not betray your country -- you are also, by inference, a patriot. But not a scoundrel. You don't need another word.

I needed "naytriot", having actively resisted the draft.
