Well that's unfortunate. Looks like they've fallen for the same nonsense that's keeping many Americans from being vaccinated. I think we still should vaccinate every migrant that will take one. It's the humane thing to do.

Why not then force US citizens as well?
Is there a president for enforcement of vaccinations?
Didn't the US enforce small pox vaccinations? Or that is too barbaric for today?

Since the US has millions of citizens who absolutely refuse to be vaccinated, the humane thing to do would be to use our excess supply to vaccinate these migrants.

I agree with that because you won't stop the virus by turning loose immigrants infected with it into the states.

Texas border city says more than 7,000 COVID-positive migrants released since February, 1,500 in last week

30 percent of migrants in border facilities refused COVID shot: report

They should fit in very well in Texas, which won't even notice a bump of 7000 cases. They've already had over 3 million cases and 53,000 deaths in Texas.

I don't understand. I didn't advocate for anyone to be forced to be vaccinated. That's why I specifically said, "we still should vaccinate every migrant that will take one".

I actually think this is one situation where we can impose conditions. If a migrant is able to be vaccinated but refuses, they should not be allowed into the country. There's no reason for us to deliberately import more unvaccinated people in the midst of a pandemic. Otherwise we're just making a bad situation worse.

Then turn them back instead of turning them loose.
For some reason, we can't turn them away.
We also can't force them to be vaccinated.
If they're carrying a deadly disease, that's
something we must accept from illegal aliens.

So it appears.

No, I did. For the greater good, or is enforcement not an option?

We really have no coherent border policy.
And none appears to be on the horizon.
But at least Harris is on the job.

Where is Harris?

Because Kamala Harris is not an effective politician. The Biden team is keeping her out of sight because she would do nothing useful to build support for the administration or its latest initiative. Polls show she is personally unpopular, and the approval numbers keep dropping as voters see more of her.

Two things. One maybe Americans should vaccinate more so that an influx like this wouldn't be anywhere near as damaging. Another alternative thing is to only allow those that choose to vaccinate into the US. 30% refuses? Well reducing our boarder crisis by 70% seems like huge progress.
