I don't hate anybody. I don't have to. God 'll get around to 'em eventually. (You realize I'm just being sarcastic, I hope.)In your opinion. However hatred of a percentage of the human population is not going to earn you many get to heaven points... Honey
Well it would all depend on if there was a just god.So there heaven would be your hell ... there's something 'divinely' efficient about that!
If there is a heaven, then I am sure there will be plenty of former () atheists there.Or whichever afterlife your belief/religion envisions?

I was about to ask the same question... not sure why I should ever be using "someone else's" standards to judge what I, personally, believe to be right or wrong action. I might defer to "the law" on something I don't necessarily grasp the full magnitude of, but in the end, I will still judge a thing I do understand on its own merits and according to my own idea of what is right or wrong.Where else are you going to get moral standards from? Other than yourself.
I meant your moral standards aren't really "moral", because they're subjective. Hence "justice" doesn't truly exist.Well unless you can show a god exists that is all we have. Anything else is speculation is it not?
Interesting... if there were actually an afterlife where many (or all) of us ended up, I would definitely still "go" even if there were theists there. And not just because it would be great to see the looks on their faces when so many of them turned out to be wrong. Though that would be a hilarious and welcome bonus. If there is, I ain't a-goin!
Subjective morals are all we have, unless you can prove a higher power and you cannot. Try invading my house and you will find justice may be very real, very painful and very swift.I meant your moral standards aren't really "moral", because they're subjective. Hence "justice" doesn't truly exist.
Well, more likely that I'd find ""justice"" etc, but sure. Tomato, toh-mah-toh and all that.and you will find justice may be very real, very painful and very swift

Anyone with critical faculties will exercise them when they are exposed to religious teaching, just as they do with other ideas.Meh. Subjective morality.

We'll all be queuing for a refund. If there is a heaven, then I am sure there will be plenty of former () atheists there.
