Becoming accepted

Spirit of Light

Be who ever you want
Yesterday was the first time outside of RF i spoke openly about being A-sexual, and honestly it scared the crap out of me when my friends started to ask question to me about why I do not seek a partner as in Girlfriend.

The first minuttes of trying to explain was most difficult  but my Muslim friends was the most welcoming toward me, and that surprised me a lot actually.

Some did not know what A-sexual mean, but little by little they understood that (to me) A-sexuallity means, lack of sexual attraction to any human being. Of course there are many variations of being A-sexual too.

I guess they maybe could not truly understand, but that is ok :)
To be accepted for who i become was maybe the most important in the discussion for me.

Being open is a heck of a lot better than trying to hide away in life. :)

I hope this brought you some happiness, and I'm glad some of your friends were supportive. You're beautiful the way you are <3

It brough a calmness within me, to carry a Secret isn't my way of finding peace from within. And yes, knowing my friends did not run any was good :)
I experienced in my past that friends run away when something was discussed.

Nothing my eye, Something for sure
I'm mostly asexual. I find sex to be a hindrance to my overall well being. I only am attracted to women with the same values as me. But like women with no morals I couldn't care less no matter how good looking they may seem to be.

To me the important in a person is their inside, way of thinking, moral, and so on, looks is not important
