It is a different dogmatic Jesus that they are taught to believe in. Not the dogmatic Jesus of the Gospels nor the historical Jesus.

They are taught Jesus is a Prophet and accept the virgin birth and the Gospels. But even every denomination of Christianity has a different version of Jesus and the Gospels. So none actually fully agree on Jesus. There is no united view worldwide.

Actually most of them consider the Gospels corrupted.
That's hardly what I would call accepting the gospels.

Then they go against the Quran.

Sura 3. 2-3

2. God, there is no god but He, the Living, the Eternal. 3. He sent down to you the Book with the Truth, confirming what came before it; and He sent down the Torah and the Gospel.

They may differ with its interpretation but their Holy Book, the Quran, says that God sent down the Gospel.

Muffled

Jesus in me
I believe wherever you see the opening word "say" that it is the angel speaking but later when that is not the case I believe Muhammed may have been hearing directly from God. I suppose one could say when the angel speaks that is inspired of God also Just as the Bible is inspired but the prophets hear from angels at times.

Muffled

Jesus in me
How can you compare the two?
The bible inspired by the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, The Qur'an does not uphold the teachings of YHWH in the bible and Ishmael would never have gone against the will of God in person. Ishmael was a Jew himself under the covenant of Abraham. I think it is an interesting discussion but it cannot be one which receives any support from YHWH and the bible.

We know the OT and the NT teaches that the words of the Prophets and Christ all came from the teachings of Gods Holy Spirit. The Qur'an cannot lay claim to such works as the Prophets including Moses and Jesus. Till we can get past these truths according to the Word of God in the bible there is no reason to believe the Qur'an inspired by YHWH and his prophets. Willing to learn if you have anything further.

I believe Muhammed qualifies as a prophet.

I believe that is not true. I believe Kings and Chronicles would not fit that description.

I believe that is false.

I believe the bible is self evident proving false what you are trying to claim. The bible proves Mahomet does not qualify as a prophet of YHWH. I believe Prophets prophesy when the Spirit of God comes upon them (2 Chronicles 15:1; 20:14; 24:20;]
Nowhere does it support what you choose to believe. Mahoment not a descendant of Israel he claimed to be a descendant of Ishmael.

The Koran is not from God and clearly we see that in the Temple in Jerusalem they have written in the roof. God has no Son.
Yet we know that Jesus was the Son of God and an Angel foretold this. Jesus was a holy thing and was to be called the Son of God, Mahomet where was his real power ever shown?

Gods prophets tell the truth about God and bring him Glory. Everyone knows about Jesus all over the world.,One God and no other and YHWH is his name according to the bible. God chose his people and they are the tribes of Israel and those who are part of his covenants. Mahomet never had a covenant with God.

Jesus was not the physical son of God snd the Bible itself confirms this fact absolutely when it says : in John 4:24 that…

God is Spirit, and His worshipers must worship Him in spirit and in truth

Any person who worships the physical body of Jesus commits blasphemy according to above verse. The Son of God is saying that Christ is the son of God Who is a Spirit so it means that He is the spiritual not physical son of God as God is Spirit.

The Quran accurately corrects this misconception by Christians who should not have become confused because of John 4:24

What you believe you cannot sustain or prove. No evidence applies to the above. As you are neither a descendant of Ishmael or Isaac you have no say. Mahomet claimed to be a descendant of Ishmael. If that had been so he would be part of the covenant of Abraham. But not a part of the covenant of Isaac through Israel. The facts speak for themselves. Gods people all have covenants. But Mahomet and the Islam do not.

This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased,
Matthew 3:17King James Bible
And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

So are you calling God a liar? You go so far as to blaspheme.

King James Bible Luke 1:35.
And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

Do you know in Jerusalem this is a sticky point for Muslims? In the turret they have written " God has not son."
But in that place no one but Muslims can enter. Do you know why? It sends a clear message to the world that it abides not in the words of YHWH or his true Prophets.

KJV
Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

Jesus was right about worshipping God in spirit and truth. The people are the temple in the last covenant not a building and the new temple will be built soon. Gods house is a house of prayer for all people.

All God created are his Sons and Daughters. Luke 3:38 Adam is called the Son of God.

You need to check the bible out.

King James Bible
When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

You have no knowledge of the Bible neither do you understand the concept of a second Adam in Christ or the final covenant to include Gentiles. The religion of Mahomet has no covenant with YHWH it does not represent the teachings of Gods Prophets and it does not represent the truth about Jesus Christ being fully human and his nature divine being born without sin and doing the will of God.

38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

Mahomet had no power and did not do any wonders.

You think calling Jesus the Son of God blasphemy. Denying God has any sons really calls God a liar.

No matter what happens, Isaac like Jesus is the chosen son's. Nothing can take away or add to the truth that has been told in the OT about the Prophet Jesus Christ. Moses said God would raise a prophet like unto himself amongst his people. Note the people who are descendants of Isaac. If you are going to call God a liar at least do it when you have studied his word and not because you believe Mahomet who had no covenant. I am just going off what is written in the bible/Torah and other prophets. The Messianic Jews recognise what Christ taught and what he did.

Genesis 17:20, KJV: "And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation."

That great nation is Islam and the twelve princes are the 12 Imams of Shia Islam.

In Revelation Chapter 12 the woman with the crown of 12 stars represents Islam and the 12 Imams and the sun and moon under her feet the emblems of Persia and Ottoman Islamic Kingdoms. The emblem of Persia was the sun and the Ottoman Empire the crescent moon.

There are many references to Islam and Prophet Muhammad in both the OT and NT but prejudice and closed mindedness prevents people from appreciating that the Bible has foretold all these things.

I don't understand.
How can a person say God gave something which they are confirming, when they say something completely different to it?

Yes. Not only a son, but many sons.

The Maxims of Ptahhotep - Wikipedia

The Maxims of Ptahhotep or Instruction of Ptahhotep is an ancient Egyptian literary composition composed by the Vizier Ptahhotep around 2375–2350 BC, during the rule of King Djedkare Isesi of the Fifth Dynasty.[1] The text was discovered in Thebes in 1847 by Egyptologist M. Prisse d'Avennes.[2] The Instructions of Ptahhotep are considered didactic wisdom literature belonging to the genre of sebayt.[3]

:)
Finally finished reading the text, and yes, it does contain some practical instructions, as are found in the Bible, but what that does is confirm what I said, because, just as you and I may have certain desires, or human needs, that would have been the case from the beginning of human history. So expectantly, people may write these down, and share them with loved ones.

The Bible thus meets the expectation of human desire, which would be expected, if it were from mankind's loving creator.
Since the Bible, not only meets that criteria, but is unique in other very significant areas, that is another reliable piece of evidence for its authenticity.

Hence why I structured the statements this way......
Can you name one religious text older than the Bible, containing practical wisdom.
Then can you name one that was ahead of modern scientific discoveries... older than the Bible.

No other writings matches the Bible in this way.
Do you know of any?

Why do you insist on deliberately making statements and falsely declaring a bible verse to present a definition it clearly cannot?
Genesis 17:20, KJV: "And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation."

That great nation is Islam and the twelve princes are the 12 Imams of Shia Islam.[./QUOTE]

20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.

No covenant....

However of the seed of Sarah the son Isaac God says:
19 And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.

GO READ THE PASSAGE NO COVENANT FOR ISHMAEL AND HIS DESCENDANTS. You defy God when you believe Ishmael has any covenant. Abrahams son Isaac had the covenant,

You have no idea do you? You see you do not understand what references are to Gods sons.

Go read the bible. 31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

If you do not have the truth then you are not part of Gods people.

The Bible has fully foretold the appearance of Muhammad without any doubt. The fact many failed to understand the signs resulted in their being deprived of His Revelation.
