Spiritual mystery

Really. I keep getting harassed by ancient philosophers. They chase me around in my dreams and they're trying to say something. Then I open my browser...it goes to Sartre. WTH?

Bulgakov died. He passed away, like blood, hunger, and the sword. But those familiar with his work know that the written word does not die…

OK :D
Bulgakove: We turn our eyes towards stars and then what do we do? Blink?
Have not read any from Bulgakov. Have read Dostoevsky six decades ago. Too late now for me to begin on anything.
BTW, I have no doubts except the properties of 'what exists' (Brahman), but science cannot answer them in my life-time.
So, that, sort of, ends my quest. :)

Some day the stars too will pass away; we live in the Steliferous era, but apparently entropy will have the final word.

How did you like Dostoevsky? I struggle with him, but I am at the mercy of the translators, as I speak no Russian, and it’s too late now for me to learn.

I find all these Russian writers very spiritual, including the sometimes atheist Dostoevsky. And especially the excommunicated Christian heretic, Tolstoy.

I like his writing, and that of Tolstoy, Pasternak and Solzhenitsyn. Always engaging. And many others too, Chekhov, Pushkin, Turgenev, etc. That is when Soviets were providing their ('approved') literature at cheap rates. But that was many dawns ago.
We have around a billion years before the sun makes earth unlivable for living beings. The creatures who will face that will not be humans. Evolution is working hard.

Are there any currently ongoing spiritual phenomenon in your opinion?
One only has to look at the state of the polarized political state these days to conclude that many peoples' minds have been overcome by something or other that propagates from person to person.
