I think this could potentially be a fun exercise. Thanks to @blü 2 for inspiring this thread.

How would you classify your perception of God in taxonomical ranking? Copy the ranking table from the OP and complete as many or as few as you like.

Be mindful that this is not a debate forum. There is no one correct answer (except my own :p).

Oh, that is Brahman (Advaita Hinduism, non-duality), and not God. It is even more than that.

That is more of the sort of response that I was thinking of. There are quite a few "God"s out there. I might have stuck "Abrahamic" in there somewhere after monothea.. Perhaps since your Phylum/Division is almost the same as the Class you could promote panthea to class, monothea to Order and stick Abrahamic in at the Family level.

Hmm, let me give it a shot:

Kingdom: Universe
Phylum/Division: non-real imaginary beings (except for mine of course)
Class: (none, oh wait, that's me!) panthea
Order: monothea
Family: Relative Newcomers
Genus: Carbohydratata
Species: The Flying Spaghetti Monster

Some see God as Brahman. Not all see God as some guy in the sky. Many see God as not merely limited to or defined by that perception.
