Yes, the bible says that the claims in the bible are true. I don't find this very meaningful or persuasive. Any source could say the same, regardless of its content.

In my experience, and from what I know of history, we should be very skeptical of any authority, precept, dogma, tenet, or dialectic that is forbidden from being questioned and simply must be accepted as true. This is because they have all shown to be false in the end.

If you think about it, any true facts would never need to be protected against questioning or doubt, because any questioning would simply bear out their truth in the end. Only falsehoods need to be propped up and protected. Requiring a statement to be believed simply because its source is an unassailable "authority" is a logical fallacy; it has been shown to be an unreliable tool to determine what is actually true.

I don't scripture has any inherent truth value or authority. It is simply historically and culturally significant to certain inheritors of that history and culture.

it’s possible that you put too much into your OP

although what you wrote is correct, as far as I can see at first glance, there may still be something wrong

have you formed a conclusion, from all you wrote, and if so, can you tell me what it is specifically?

You focus on Peter ,yet the bible ( 13 epistles) focuses on Paul . After Acts there is little focus on Peter.

My belief stance is listed in the corner of my posts. I'm an atheist. I don't find Biblical prophecies persuasive since they are vague, subject to interpretation, and/or achievable by people simply deciding to fulfill the prophecy. According to the consensus of Biblical scholars, some of these prophecies were most likely written after the events they prophesied.

To be interesting, a prophecy should be not subject to interpretation, be recorded before the event in question, be extremely specific, and answerable only by one unique and clear event. Such a prophecy being fulfilled would at least be a little evidence, although there would still be no way to show it wasn't due to coincidence, a conspiracy, evil wizards, etc.

That's largely because Paul and his writings and references came later whereas messages were being conveyed to the diaspora.

Again, what we repeatedly see is a greater emphasis put on Peter's leadership that we see with Paul. Matter of fact, Paul meets Peter in Jerusalem and tries to encourage him to wave circumcision when Gentiles are interested in conversion, thus Paul well knew that it was Peter who was going to have to make that decision. Also, it was Peter's vision that led to not requiring those who convert to keep kosher.

Both men had duties to perform, but it was to Peter that Jesus said "Feed my sheep, ...".

I’m sorry I don’t understand
You don’t believe scripture?
I don't believe your statement with a single verse tacked on the end ,as if that's what it's saying.
Eisegesis (/ˌaɪsɪˈdʒiːsɪs/) is the process of interpreting text in such a way as to introduce one's own presuppositions, agendas or biases. It is commonly referred to as reading into the text.[1] It is often done to "prove" a pre-held point of concern, and to provide confirmation bias corresponding with the pre-held interpretation and any agendas supported by it.

Eisegesis is best understood when contrasted with exegesis. Exegesis is drawing out text's meaning in accordance with the author's context and discoverable meaning. Eisegesis is when a reader imposes their interpretation of the text. Thus exegesis tends to be objective; and eisegesis, highly subjective.

No Jesus is the rock. This is the most misused verse in all scripture, by Rome .

Jesus changed Simon's name to "Kephas", which means "rock" or "stone" in Aramaic. Instead, Jesus is identified as being the "Cornerstone", which is "eben" in Aramaic.
