Also dead people can't possess you, demons can, not a test i'd recommend though.

How do you determine if it is a poltergeist? What are the key characters used to define a demon? What about the spirit of a dead person? What characters would differentiate any of these from a natural phenomenon?Has can you tell if a poltergeist.Is a demon?Or the spirit of a dead person?
@Frank Goad , I thought you knew what the Bible says about the dead. Adam ‘returned to the ground’ (Genesis 3:19). His lifeforce, was just like electricity: it ‘went out.’ (Psalms 146:3-4). That means the dead...are dead.
What does that leave? Demons.
