One thing I agree with is switching from one addiction to another, I am completely dependent on God now and trust nothing and no one else, this is what it means to be a believer in Christ. Since I quit the evolution/creationism debates, one of the things I started doing was visiting conservative media more, and specifically evangelical Christian media outlets. After doing that for over a year, I can confirm that you're absolutely correct....they are completely obsessed with other peoples' sex lives. The main thing I ask evangelicals (when I get the chance) on such issues is "What does it matter to you?" I've had several tell me that if a gay couple, or transgender person moved into their neighborhood, they would immediately go knock on their door and tell them what they think about their "lifestyle".

They really are a bunch of nosy busybodies who think it's their duty to go around judging everyone. "Creepy" is indeed the proper word here.

Also, whether you agree or not the Monuments are there as part of our history and should remain. Recommend reading the transcript instead of believing the propaganda. Don’t know anyone saying it was a hoax, what was a hoax was when government had mandatory shut downs, mandatory masks, limiting the gathering of people and then they got caught breaking their own rules. Contradictory information and dishonesty. Have you ever considered that a lot of people don’t walk around afraid of everything and there are risks in everything.
