But that's not what Romans 9 ,10 says ?
I am not that familiar with what the bible says chapter to chaper :)

Personally i believe the scripture is there to guide people, and not to be followed 100% as a slave. So when reading in scripture from any religion one would maybe benefit from thinking, What does this really tell me? What does it mean to my life.
I do not know if this is your way of understanding the christian teaching, or if you read the bible litterarly and do not think outside of the text at all? You may enlighten me with an answer to how you practice?

We want to discover the Authors intent . The Audience and discoverable meaning in context . There can only be one interpretation. The one the author intended ( Of course ultimately, the intention that God wanted written ) The start of the book of Romans tells us who is writing ( Paul ) To whom ( The Church at Rome . Which as an aside, Peter is not mentioned, so much for Peter being the first pope ect ) The first chapter begins the intent . The who , what, when ,why and where . By the time we get to Romans 8 we already discover Paul is laying down what the Gospel is ( Rom 1 .16 ) Mans predicament ( Rom 1,2,3 ) Mans solution and hope ( 45678) , Israel s predicament and restoration ( 9,10,11 ) and how to live in light of this as a saved person in Christ 12 onwards .
Rom 10 is describing how a person appropriates salvation ( verses 10-15 )
Believing from the heart ,rather than just mental ascent .Paul doesn't say that what he writes is flexible to interpret willy, nilly

I do agree understanding the teaching is most important, but is it not important for you to think for your self, what you as a christan would benefit from changing in your action speech and thoughts according to how Jesus thought it?

Or can you do, say or think anything you wish without making a sin?

THE GOSPEL.
1¶Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel l which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

2By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
( And here it is )

3¶For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

4And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
1 Cor 1.15
But what you are missing is our responsibility since the Jesus' promise is a two-way street. To shorten that as being a one-way street is simply not the Gospel. The "Goats" believed about Jesus, but they didn't believe in Jesus, and that's a HUGE difference that affects salvation as the parable indicates.

To assert that it's just a one-way street turns that form of "Christianity" into what I call "rocking-chair religion", namely just sit back and have some nice thoughts minus actually living a life based on agape. That's not what Christ taught.

First of all, the title "pope" wasn't used back then and, secondly, the preeminence of Peter amongst the Apostles is really quite obvious if you take the Gospel as a whole. His role was more spiritual in nature [after a rough start], and James was the administrative head and Judas was the treasurer.

When the Apostles are listed, Peter's name is almost always first [sometimes it just says "Peter and the others"], and it was Peter who Jesus told to "feed my sheep". When Paul wanted the issue of circumcision to be reconsidered, he went to Peter for that. Etc.

But the important thing with "apostolic succession" is that it's really not just about Peter as more importantly it's about the Apostles appointing "bishops" [in English] and their appointing others to replace them that we see in Acts and most of the epistles that continues on through today. Nor is this just a Catholic thing, btw.

I believe the scriptures are to be understood in their context. The scripture understood and rightly divided lets me know how to follow what is written .

No Christian can be a goat . A life lived out of love comes from rightly understanding the scriptures , not Lordship salvation.

Then why after Paul's conversion is there very little mention of Peter ? Or apostolic succession?

Only those who do God's and Jesus' will, sometimes referred to as living out of the "law of love". Talk is cheap, thus not intrinsically agape.

A life lived out of love comes from rightly understanding the scriptures
The Christian scriptures are clear and simple: love of God and neighbor, and that means living the love, not just paying it lip-service while one does whatever they want to do.

As Jesus said, we need to come through the "narrow gate", and yet so many don't seen to take those words seriously.

Peter is mentioned 155 times in the NT, and you can see them all here: Bible, Revised Standard Version

"Apostolic succession" is the name given by theologians to the succession of appointees going back to the Apostles, and I believe I linked you to that in my last post. You should be able to see this rather clearly being spelled out in Acts and the epistles. If you have trouble with that terminology, then look up "appoint" and how many times it's used in the NT.

A Christian is not under the law . Love of God and Neighbour was given to Israel. No one is saved today apart from 1cor 15 .1-4 .

Yes I don't follow ' theologians ' . And like I said AFTER Paul the focus is Paul not Peter . Which verse would you like to discuss where Paul says there will be popes like we see in Roman Catholicism?

The term ' appoint ' . Ok which verse says anything remotely what we see in Roman Catholicism? This is not biblical . Its ' tradition ' created by Rome .

The Christian Science church was started by Mary Baker Eddy.

The Foursquare church was started by Aimee Semple McPherson.
