Because they were playing this song (Family Values Tour, I don't remember the year) as we were tearing up the venue (an outdoor amphitheater), with chunks of sod and trash and clothes and debris flying everywhere, big cloud of dust in the air, fighting and moshing all over, it was so chaotic security evacuated and a riot squad called in in case they couldn't get us to settle down.
Also funny people he interrupted the song a few times laughing at what was going on. Which was total chaos in the lawn. At one point, as the norm he asked how the crowd is doing, and the lawn section drown out the house and Corey Taylor said "I know how you crazy ****ers in the lawn are doing, how about you ****ers up front? I can't hear you over them."
And it was awesome many years later when I got to meet one of the stage hands at that show.:D
