I did landscaping in a light rain.
That is a less than ideal condition.
I'd rather have that than bright and sunny.

Long time ago, about '83, but mine was a money pit. Canada is not the place to own one, as there were no dealers here.

Ahh, france is a bit different, there are agents all over the place. Also we have a tame mechanic to look after it for free so long as he can use it. Works out very cheap.

I wear clothes, gloves, I even use sunscreen in my car because even behind glass windows I still burn.
The sun is evil, wicked, it hates me and I hate it.

UV-A passes through glass almost unimpeded, most UV-B (but not all) is blocked.

So factor 10,000 or higher when driving and douse your bare bits in bucketfulls od moisturise at every opportunity.

I have finished Yudhi's speech therapy.

His is easier than Ares's. His is on zoom. You can tell a good chunk(I think half) of his life has been during a pandemic; he much prefers zoom to in person appointments.

I use gallons of spf 100 sunscreen here. Especially when the sun is it's most pissy (high and higher uv index) I start burning in a few minutes, so I don't go outside without it.

I have spent nearly two hours on my phone. First for some token gesture attempt calls to the unemployment people (just to say I did make the effort) before I got started for the day.
I actually got through and have talked to one person who transferred me to another. My day has so far been on here because I've been on hold for over an hour now for this second person.

You've been stuck on the phone a lot lately it seems.

My husband cleaned out the attic recently.

By cleaned, I mean he moved all the contents of the attic and dispersed them elsewhere.

My oldest son was complaining about the debris in his room, so I went through and tried to stuff some of it in the totes my husband bought to store the attic contents... and found that the lid for one has already disappeared. Not useful without a lid. But, I did manage to get one box of crap, I mean items, boxed up.

We have a set up in our city in which you pay the city to pick up so many items, and we've been taking advantage of that lately, but my husband's work schedule dramatically changed, and he keeps forgetting to go to the city management building to arrange it. That's thrown a wrench in things.

Its also thrown a wrench in lunchtime. He has been home for lunch for years, giving me opportunity to prepare it. Now he's not. Cooking with Ares in the kitchen... well, its comparable to cooking with an agitated elephant underfoot.

I've also noted I need mustard oil.

Made more calls, got a call, expecting more calls.
I may need to use a collection of phones as clay pigeons to unwind.

When I read that, it came into my brain as "I need a carrier pigeon".

Might a carrier pigeon be the answer here?
