God designed it.How did this design come to be?
I know what the plan is and there will be light at the end of the long dark tunnel.I don’t know what the plan is. But I trust in the light.
I believe in GodHas the existence of God confirmed? Or a case of 'much ado about nothing'?
I believe you are free to believe what ever you like.
Regardless of what I think of your beliefs.
Manifest destiny? If rich, God made one rich, so God intends one to rule others? All things that a rich person does (beheading Ann Boleyn) are fine with God because God made one rich and powerful?Possibly. If they get away with their crimes, become rich and powerful - assuming that God exists and is sitting up there watching it all - then we have to assume that He is pleased by what He sees.
That is not a confirmation. It is not even evidence.I believe in God
Most humans on this earth believe in God or Gods
How many people has the Biblical God ordered to die?Crusaders were Christians, and they killed infidels.
Which of the thousands of proposed deities is the one you claim?
You have already eliminated the gods of the Bible and Koran....

Tossing a chicken bone over my shoulder, as we speak.
I know what the plan is and there will be light at the end of the long dark tunnel.
That will eventually come to pass in this world just as it will come to pass when we enter the next world.
Not sure why you brought up Ann Boleyn, but considering the religious belief that God chooses the monarchs of a country, then God ostensibly chose Henry VIII to rule England knowing full well what he would do. So, anything and everything done by Henry was done in fulfilment of God's will.
How many people has the Biblical God ordered to die?
How many people has the Biblical God killed....
As I said here:
Of course, all the thread is getting is lame excuses and double speak about it.
So I stopped being bothered with it.

God is not behind paths/religions that teach violence and hate. Why? Because God is goodness. God is not evil
One dimensional? What to you mean with that?
Seems to me the commandment should read: Thou shalt not kill unless I tell you to.Man is made in God's image. Perhaps it is not the visual image, perhaps, instead, it is the moral image? If God killed, so do humans? Even with a commandment stopping them from killing, humans seem to carry on wars and torture camps.
Perhaps we humans should not be forgiven for original sin? Perhaps, instead, God should be forgiven for wiping out humans (Noah's flood, Sodom) in a pique of rage?
Including forcing England to abandon the Catholic faith and accept the Anglican faith (church of England, or, more precisely, the church of King Henry VIII, who desperately wanted more power and to sanction his previous divorce from his wife, Catherine of Aragon)? Since when does the abandonment of God's bible comply with God's wishes?
The Bible is different from any other book in that it's Author is God. (1 Thessalonians 2:13) (2 Peter 1:21) The result is a book that is accurate. But the Bible is not the only holy book that has ever been written.
Other holy books say all true religions lead to God.
If those holy books were written after the Bible, then they supersede the Bible.
That's how it works.
I not believe that the Bible was 'authored' by God. I believe that it was authored by men inspired by the Holy Spirit. The Bible is different from any other book in that it's Author is God. (1 Thessalonians 2:13) (2 Peter 1:21) The result is a book that is accurate.
Perhaps these prophets has visions that had accurate information in them but the earth is not a circle, it is a globe. The Bible did not reveal scientific facts as we know them to be true today. For example, the Bible is not a science book and yet it accurately revealed that the earth hangs on nothing. (Job 26:7) When most people believed the earth was flat, the Bible said it was round. (Isaiah 40:22)
I don't know anything about that. The Bible contains God's instructions on ways to stop disease from spreading long before people knew how bacteria and viruses cause disease.
I agree with you about that. Bible prophecy has and is all coming true down to the smallest detail. The prophecies for the return of Christ have all been fulfilled and the prophecies pertaining to the messianic age are in the process of unfolding, since we entered the messianic age in 1844 AD.Bible prophecy is all coming true down to the smallest detail. Hundreds of years before it happened, the Bible prophesied how Babylon would be conquered. (Isaiah 44:27- 45:2) The Bible propehecies about our day are now being fulfilled. (2 Timothy 3:1-5) We can trust what the Bible says about the future (Psalm 37:29) (Isaiah 11:6-9) (Revelation 21:3-4)
God wants what is best for us but the Bible does not say that there is one road leading to God. All true religions lead to God, although God would prefer we take the new road rather than the old roads because those old roads were built for former ages. All these things are so because God cannot lie. (Titus 1:2) Jehovah wants the best for us! So, when the Bible says that there is only one road leading to God we can trust that this direction and warning is both accurate and true. (Matthew 7:13-14)
Is God in charge or the Bible? What if God tells you to abandon the Bible? Do you tell Him no?Since when does the abandonment of God's bible comply with God's wishes?
There is no path “to” God, for we are, by virtue of being part of the created order, inherently in God.Only paths/religions that teach kindness, love, justice, goodness is important is a path that lead to God.
Paths/religions that do not teach that kindness, love, justice, goodness is important is not a path that lead to God. Religions/paths that teach violence, hate is important is not a path to God.
Any thoughts? What do you believe about this?
