What are some of your thoughts on death?

This is not a religious topic is it? The topic is death, what are your thoughts about it?

Guess it would involve a little bit with religious topics, so if this is post should be placed else were will a staff member let me know. Thank you.

If you do have any thoughts about death, what are they?

~~ If you are someone dealing with suicidal thoughts on a daily, please seek help and please know that life is difficult, for everyone.
I prayed to God I wouldn't be afraid when I die. I went through a lot of hard things but one good side effect was losing the fear of death. Was prayer answered? Some things are more bitter than death. Does time heal all wounds?

How does any of that show the definition of wicked and unrighteous?
That can be homework if you don't see how. Or do you want me to do everything?
It's better you check for yourself if you are in the dark about what I said.
Different words convey different meanings.
They are in the Concordance.

Death sucks.

I don't fear death for myself, but, am deeply troubled by the thought of losing my loved ones. I lost a life-long friend in the fall and I dream about him all of the time - vivid dreams - that stick with me during my wakeful hours. It's an ongoing reminder of my loss - and especially that of his children and family. He left young daughters behind and that will never not be heart breaking.

My Grandmother's health is failing and I'm really struggling with it. That loss in our lives will permanently and painfully change so much. Though, there's solace in knowing that she will not suffer any longer and that she is at peace with passing on, it's still one of the most painful realities that I've had to face. She's been such a precious presence in my life and I love her. I'm agonizing over the loss to come. It's going to hurt like hell and change my life significantly when she's gone.

Why are you looking at the word sin?
What significance does that have to the words usage?
Why are you looking for the words to say ignorance?
The word meaning is not ignorance. The word meaning is unjust, unrighteous - which does not mean wicked.
That is really the point.

The Bible is the book that says there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and unrighteous, and there is no hope for the wicked, who will be annihilated forever.

Does that not mean, your job is to just see that there is some difference between wicked and unrighteous?
So that you understand why the wicked are not resurrected?

Are we looking at what the Bible says? I thought we were.
To clarify...
One word says unrighteous. The other says wicked.
They have differences.
One is mentioned as getting a resurrection. The other isn't.
...From what the Bible says.

I understand those differences, as they are defined.
Strong's Greek: 94. ἄδικος (adikos) -- unjust, unrighteous
Strong's Greek: 4190. πονηρός (ponéros) -- toilsome, bad
The unrighteous are not the wicked.

We don't have to agree. That's alright, as we probably never will.
I am not trying to change your mind.
I'm sure you are not trying to change my mind... I hope.

In life humans know humans die. Bodily.

We always knew medical biological death is real.

What humans tell stories about is what form they own after as a deceased human.

So we were taught.

One body is first with God O planet stone.
One body remains with God bones. Your skeleton.

The other one of self bio goes back to dust form in decomposition.

The living lived life gets a life recording in the heavens. Voice and image. Psychic proven.

Bible even said so.

God said science is already deceased as stone does not own living light of a hot gas spirit.

Life said science lived because of the hot gas spirit owning light. Never said it was God.

God was at peace asleep in the tomb of stone.

We said with father human in the heavens when we die.

Always said we die.

No argument as it was already taught.

Why are you looking at the word sin?
Because it shows that people who are unrighteous and people who are wicked are in the biblical sense people who sin.

What significance does that have to the words usage?
It shows that unrighteousness and wickedness are used in the bible to represent sinfulness.

Why are you looking for the words to say ignorance?
Because you said (paraphrasing) that the unrighteous are those who sin in ignorance. So that should be included in the biblical definition.

The word meaning is not ignorance. The word meaning is unjust, unrighteous - which does not mean wicked.
That is really the point.
It is the semantical point, but in my opinion it is not the correct point, as an unjust person is a wicked person and is an unrighteous person.

The Bible is the book that says there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and unrighteous, and there is no hope for the wicked, who will be annihilated forever.
Well according to John 5:29 in the KJV those who have done "evil" are resurected unto judgement.
if you hover over the word Phaula at this link from your referenced website John 5:29 Interlinear: and they shall come forth; those who did the good things to a rising again of life, and those who practised the evil things to a rising again of judgment. it describes Phaula as "worthless, wicked, base" so since there is presumably no difference between those who do wicked and those who are wicked it seems reasonable to infer that John 5:29 is saying the wicked will be resurrected as well.

Does that not mean, your job is to just see that there is some difference between wicked and unrighteous?
So that you understand why the wicked are not resurrected?
According to John 5:29 the wicked are resurrected as explained in the paragraph above this one.

One is mentioned as getting a resurrection. The other isn't.
...From what the Bible says.

I understand those differences, as they are defined.
Strong's Greek: 94. ἄδικος (adikos) -- unjust, unrighteous
Strong's Greek: 4190. πονηρός (ponéros) -- toilsome, bad
The unrighteous are not the wicked.
It is strange that you seem to think the unjust are not toilsome or bad, but have you also factored in Stongs greek 5337. phaulos from John 5:29?

We don't have to agree. That's alright, as we probably never will.

No we don't have to agree.

So show me the ancient dictionary where unrighteous is defined as not wicked.

It clearly doesn’t have the exact same meaning as wicked, though the one word can be used as a synonym for the other.

That’s the beauty of the English language, there are so many words to choose from, that any sentence we utter offers huge scope for nuance. The scholars who compiled the KJV certainly knew this; they chose each word very carefully, often after prolonged argument among themselves.

I would suggest that wicked is generally synonymous with evil. Unrighteous is perhaps closer in meaning, to immoral or unjust. A distinct difference in tone.

Language is organic by the way. Meaning and usage change all the time; naughty used to mean worthless. You wouldn’t accuse a child of being worthless.

Because it shows that people who are unrighteous and people who are wicked are in the biblical sense people who sin.

It shows that unrighteousness and wickedness are used in the bible to represent sinfulness.
Sin or sins or sinned or sinning or sinful, is irrelevant to this discussion.

Because you said (paraphrasing) that the unrighteous are those who sin in ignorance. So that should be included in the biblical definition.
I said an unrighteous person can be an ignorant person - meaning, one who does not know his right hand from his left...
The Hebrew and Greek meaning are simply wicked, unrighteous, unjust, righteous, unrighteous.
There is no definition saying what the wicked is, as opposed to the unrighteous.
They simply are used differently in Bible passages. So the understanding of the meaning is based on their usages.

Hence...
ádikos (an adjective, derived from 1 /A "no" and 1349 /díkē, "justice") – properly, without justice; unjust, because violating what God says is just; divinely disapproved. See 93 (adikia).-
adikía (a feminine noun derived from 1 /A "not" and 1349 /díkē, "justice") – properly, the opposite of justice; unrighteousness, as a violation of God's standards (justice) which brings divine disapproval; a count (violation) of God's justice, i.e. what is contrary to His righteous judgments (what He approves).
* I highlighted the commentary in blue
So the words are used in the Bible passages to convey the appropriate thought / meaning.

It is the semantical point, but in my opinion it is not the correct point, as an unjust person is a wicked person and is an unrighteous person.
You are saying that, but I am showing you, that is not the case.
Unrighteous, and unjust are used different to wicked. They do not mean the same thing. By extension an unrighteous person can be wicked.

Please consider the usage of the Greek words. The Bible was not originally writen in English.
Strong's Greek: 94. ἄδικος (adikos) -- unjust, unrighteous
unjust, unrighteous.
From a (as a negative particle) and dike; unjust; by extension wicked; by implication
Strong's Greek: 4190. πονηρός (ponéros) -- toilsome, bad

They are differences.

This verse is describing actions. It is not using the word to describe people.
Hence, the unjust did wicked deed. Of course. What else would an unrighteous person do? They don't know what is righteous.

So the unrighteous who did wicked deeds, will be resurrected.
The text does not say the wicked will be resurrected, but those that did wicked, worthless, or evil will. Acts says, they are the unrighteous.

According to John 5:29 the wicked are resurrected as explained in the paragraph above this one.
No please. According to John 5:29, those who did evil will be resurrected. All ignorant people which is everyone born a sinner did evil in God's eyes.
Only after learning what displeases God, did persons become either righteous or wicked. The untaught remain ignorant - unrighteous - neither wicked nor righteous... from God's point of view.

It is strange that you seem to think the unjust are not toilsome or bad, but have you also factored in Stongs greek 5337. phaulos from John 5:29?
That word is practice. Strong's Greek: 4238. πράσσω (prassó) -- to do, practice
It refers to what one does. It does not refer to what one is.
There is a difference.

No we don't have to agree.

In my opinion
Fine.

Would like to make this known to everyone as well

Would like to state by accordance to the rules here are RF

8. Preaching/Proselytizing
Creating (or linking to) content intended to convert/recruit others to your religion, spirituality, sect/denomination, or lack thereof is not permitted. Similarly, attempting to convert others away from their religion, spiritual convictions, or sect/denomination will also be considered a form of preaching. Stating opinions as a definitive matter of fact (i.e., without "I believe/feel/think" language, and/or without references) may be moderated as preaching.

Let it be known that (Myself) has no desire or is it intended for me to convert you.
Let it be known that (Myself) has no desire to try to take you away from your own religion that you have freedom to make the choice to be in and about if that is your so desire.
My thoughts on these matters will be on the basis of my belief/feel/think ~ And that it could be anything that is said can and may be presumed as wrong and incorrect.

I have no intend to preach, yet will share anything from myself if may felt led to (That concerns my beliefs/feelings/thoughts. You may have your own choices of what you may believe, feel, and thoughts.)

I deliberately included that... by extension. I hope you know what it means.
I looked up the phrase "by extension" and got this;

'by extension DEFINITIONS AND SYNONYMS
PHRASE

DEFINITIONS
  1. used for explaining that a particular person or thing is affected by something only because they are connected to what you have just mentioned
She hates all businessmen and, by extension, me.'

From BY EXTENSION (phrase) definition and synonyms | Macmillan Dictionary

Note from the example given that the individual is considered hated because he is a businessman.

To give an example in my own words;
"The unrighteous shall be resurrected and *by extension* the wicked".

See how that works?
One cannot be part of the unrighteous and wicked unless the two are connected.

But if the unrighteous are they who unknowingly commit sin and the wicked are they who knowingly commit sin the two are unconnected.

In my opinion.

What I believe Jesus was saying in John 11 is that anyone who believes in Him will arise (wake up) to spiritual life.
John 11
23 Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.”
24 Martha said to Him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”
25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. 26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

Jesus resurrects people to spiritual life, not to physical life. Jesus was referring to the eternal life of the soul which one attains if they believe in Him, Jesus was not referring to the life of the physical body. When the physical body dies it returns to the earth and the spirit returns to God, who resides in heaven.
Ecclesiastes 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was, and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

Jesus' friend was dead, physically dead, Jesus did Not wake him up spiritually but literally.
Please notice the word 'it' at Ecclesiastes 12:7 because one's spirit is a neuter 'it' (Not a person )
'It' returns to God in the same way a foreclosed house returns to the owner.
The house does Not move or go anywhere but any future for that house lies in the hands of the owner.
So, any future life ( resurrection ) now lies in God's safe hands.

Jesus was speaking about ' second death ' when he said shall never die.
Because of Resurrection Day ( Jesus' Millennium-Long Day of governing over Earth for a thousand years ) is about a happy-and-healthy physical resurrection.
Note: ALL the resurrections Jesus performed were bringing people back to healthy life on Earth.
Jesus was giving us a preview, a coming attraction of what he will be doing on grand international scale.
This is why the 'future tense' is used at Acts of the apostles 24:15 that 'there is going to be' a resurrection....

You are free to believe that of you want to because you have free will. Just don't be surprised when you die and it does not play out that way. It could be rather confusing to say the least.

People generally believe what they want to believe and that is why most people never change their beliefs. They like their beliefs and they look forward to what they believe will happen when they die, even if it makes no sense at all. Christians use Bible verses to justify their beliefs but the problem is that those verses do not mean the same things to all Christians, hence the different sects of Christianity abound.
