Why I have no enemies

Spirit of Light

Be who ever you want
First of all how can I have enemies when i love all humanity? I can say i do not love action that harm others, it is the human being i love.
An other thing is that i do not own the land i live in, i do not see it as a place only for Norwegian people, i honestly love the multi cultural enviroment it has become here.
Sitting on a bench somewhere and just listen to the multitude of languages spoken, and see people from all over the planet, in harmony and peace.

Critiques of what i write about and believe in, will say "Yes, but what about when someone attack you, or kill your family or friends? Can you still love them then?"

Answer: As i said earlier, i do not love action that harm others, but i can forgive, and move on. I can not bring back those who are gone. so i found that dwelling on the pain from the past does not heal anyone, it only create hate and anger. and i do not want hate and anger in my life anymore.

Love and compassion that grow from within the heart of a person is what heal us.

As long as you don't see yourself as an enemy to yourself, I think you're fine. Someone else's perception of you tells more about their character than yours.

In other words, I can learn more about you by who you love not who you hate.

I used to be my own worsed enemy, but something happend a few weeks ago where i started loving who i have become in a sense that i accept my current flaw, and dont get mad at my self when i do wrong, I do try to understand why i do wrong, even when i know what i should have done :)

Use it as a teacher as a distraction to meditation. Instead if the concept of sin, maybe more the concept of transformation.

Just a thought. No devils here.
I do not believe a flaw, or mistakes we do in life is a sin :) It is a part of learning who we truly are. if we talk about sin, to me that would be as an example if I on purpose harmed my self or others. or if i stole something.

But being aware of our own shortcomings, and trying to find the solution is in my eyes not a sin :)

Sorry to break the news, but it isn't you who gets to decide. With friendship, it takes two (or more). It is an expression of a relationship, and relationships aren't one sided.

Once, while teaching, I taught a 10 year old kid who was totally convinced that he was in love with a girl. Since he 'loved' her, he figured it must follow that she loved him.

I get the sentiment, as I don't hate anyone either, but that doesn't mean that they don't think very lowly of me.

I am not in delution and believe others do not have any hate, dislike or anger toward me as a person :) But that is not something i can control. It is their choice who they hate or love. What others think or feel is their thoughts and feelings.

All i can do in my life is to not hold any anger, hate or dislikes toward other human beings.

I'm the same!

Also, a helpful full statement of the radical love Christ says can illustrate a full meaning as intended -- there are several helpful expansions to get the full meaning:

38 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’ 39 But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. 40 And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well. 41 If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles. 42 Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.

Love for Enemies

43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors
[who collected taxes for the Roman overlords] doing that? 47 And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect."
Matthew 5 NIV

These are things that can be easy to do at times, but there can arise situations sometimes (in life) where this could be much harder to do (!) unless we have invisible aid. :) And that's a key part of why Christ came, so that we could be changed and get that aid.

I think lots of us do that. Anger and hate are controllable. I most likely misunderstood the intent of your OP due to ESL reasons. My apologies.

In my opinion, as long as you don't believe you're born with ego and short comings, I wouldn't put it pass you to reach your goal ;). If ego is a part you and it's something you feel you need to work on but won't reach the goal while alive, I'd say it will take awhile.

I just used sin for the concept of being born with something that keeps you from your spiritual goal or lifestyle. Are you born to live a spiritual life or where you born spiritual and something knocked you off the path?
