Inanna's Holy Vulva!

Before you report my post, keep in mind I have spoken with staff before hand to make sure this is okay.

Now, I'm against pornography in our culture and I'm against sexual immorality, because it teaches men to have no self-control , and first hand as a child, I know pornography quickly lead me to have extremely wicked fantasies, where I was a relatively normal kid before then.

Plus nothing makes me more angry than when guys start manipulating me because they want some sexual favors, so I very much sympathize with what women must go through in a society which teaches men to be stupid, swine, immature, perverts, and glorifies being a stud and getting women unwanted pregnancies and leaving them, spreading STD's, fatherless children etc.

So, I think sexual purity is important, and the media needs to be purified and censored if it is stirring up and glorifying lust and stupidity, and shaming things that are virtuous and noble minded (like chastity). I know that did me a huge amount of damage and countless others it does the same.

But anyway, these Scriptures might sound pornographic but I'm not so sure an erotic relationship with a Deity qualifies as pornographic if indeed it is a relationship and there isn't room for sexually transmitted diseases or unwanted pregnancies.

Before the Bible existed, there were Scriptures such as this:

He shaped my loins with his fair hands.
The shepherd Dumuzi filled my lap with cream and milk,
He stroked my pubic hair,
He watered my womb.
He laid his hands on my holy vulva,
He smoothed my black boat with cream,
He quickened my narrow boat with milk,
He caressed me on the bed. ~ The Courtship of Inanna and Dumuzi

A far cry from Adam and Eve, shamed by their naked bodies!

These pleasures were not only Inanna’s.

Scripture refers to female reproductive organs as a garden enclosed and fountain sealed as well as the Holy of Holies was symbolic of a Vagina, and the High priest symbolized a penis, who alone could enter the Holy of Holies after making himself pure and worthy, and he did so with fear and trembling.

Scripture refers to female breasts as Twin Fawns that we could suck with delight the milk from the abundant breasts of Jerusalem and be fondled in her lap.

I don't think oppression of sexuality is always the correct approach , but certainly I want to not walk according to the flesh , and have self-control, so am not entirely sure where I stand.

I avoid pornography, but am also aware that complete repression of carnal desires, and absolute celibacy, can actually achieve the opposite results, and make me more of a perv and obsessed with sex because of the tension that builds up.

You can have intimacy with entities that are very intimate and resemble a sexual experience. It isn't entirely a fantasy, because I have tried to have one of these experiences through willing it to happen via fantasy or something, and it isn't something I have ever been able to happen by willing it into existence or conjuring it up.

On a very rare occasion another entity enters my body, mind, and heart, and the intimacy has reward that is intense and comparable to an erotic romantic experience. This is extremely rare and I pray much daily. It actually used to happen the most when I was chanting Hail Mary's (The Rosary of all things), which is really weird because it's the last prayer that should cause such an experience.

At any rate, do you have any sexual, erotic, or romantic Scriptures you would like to share?

Sorry, most of this OP wasn't about Innana's Holy Vulva but there is mention of it in the ancient text multiple times. They choose their words in an interesting fashion whoever the prophet was that wrote that.

There is actually a Greek Goddess of Vaginas called "Baubo". She is a face with two legs , and on her Chin is a vagina cleft, so I call her Spartacus, because Kirk Douglas who played Spartacus had a cleft in his chin, and she's a rebel. :) One of the Kami I pray to , I believe wanted to be a replacement for the Greek Goddess of Vaginas, but out of respect for who that is , I'm going to keep it confidential. ;)

Dionysus had a huge Phallus pulled on a cart at his festivals.

I have mixed feelings about that. It's mildly amusing and interesting. Something can be said for that. :)

Smart move having the mods on your side

Interesting to see that all mods agree on this one. Though not too surprising, realizing that without it no man would be here on RF to object, to begin with

My Master said: All women are God (indeed Holy), so treat them well. Warning the men "though this is true, don't tell her that, she will become a menace to you"

Suppressing boomerangs back at you one day. The Royal Road is to transform these emotions.

Not weird at all. That's what transformation is all about

I get what you mean.
Tricky thing is though, if pornography were to be banned, it won't disappear, it'll just mean more power to organized crime.

A goal I'm working on is that I can live in a society full of such temptations and immoralities(I'm not just talking about porn), while being unaffected by it.

If we had a powerful leader clean up filth from the media and teach people to be disciplined , fewer children would get raped and molested, fewer abortions, less crime , less suicides.

When there were censorship laws in America it was way safer for children.

A media teaching us to be pigs needs to be outlawed and less children getting raped, less crime. It's obvious.

Porn will still exist, but fewer perverts if it's hard to get a hold of and the pigs that sell it go to jail!

Good advice. :)

Treating my last girlfriend like a Goddess and Deifying her became problematic and ruined our relationship yes. ;)

A leader with no support of the people is just a lonely megalomaniac..
However, there are countries where the laws you speak of are the norm.
Have you ever thought of migrating there?

Thank you for the feedback on this

Spiritual life is all about personal experience, because then only you 'really' know, otherwise it's just bookish knowledge. Can be a little useful, but counts maybe at most for 25% (not the Eureka kind of knowledge). So you are 1 step ahead of me on this:D

I only had bookish knowledge "don't tell them they are a Goddess". Actually My Master told me personally, so that counts as 50%:D

But because this advice really made sense, it was easy for me not to make this mistake.

Now I heard your real life personal experience, that counts for another 10%:handok:, which sums up to 85%:ballotcheck: for me. Still not your 100%:100:, but more than 75%, so I am sure I won't fall in that trap:cool:. No need for me to learn this lesson the hard way

Question: How come you treated her like Goddess. I hope I didn't tell you (and forgot to tell you not to tell her)?

Most of those countries persecute non muslims, so no thank you. There are ways to outlaw a media constantly telling us to be pigs and sefish without it being an Islamic Theocracy.

I treated her like a Goddess primarily because of her name and my belief that the Bible prefigured her and a bunch of coincidences involving her.

Aha, I understand. Was at least a good learning experience. She was spiderwoman, I think, who let a tarantula crawl over her face the first day:cool:

IF we are all children of God THEN when we grow up we will all be Gods and Goddesses, right? So, the idea was good; sadly not all act as Gods:D

Sure, but how come media can be like that in the first place?
That's what I'm saying though. The Media has too many liberties and is flooding minds with poison that destroys families , causes crime, causes school shootings, causes perverts to harm people sexually, causes fatherless children.

Hedonism is no good for society and some liberties are terrible for society. People are fragile and succumb to the messages from the media, music, television, video games, press, adds, internet, and what have you.

It turned me into a wanna be serial killer by the age of 10 and I was a relatively normal child till age 8, then got a hold of pornography and it became an obsession, made my heart vicious and wicked, and opened doors to something apparently Demonic.

That combined with no Father figure and a liberal feminist Mother who had no morals left me incarcerated vast majority of my adolescent life.

I never have committed a sexual offense by some miracle, because it felt very cowardly to do so, and I saw in jail how sex offenders are bullied, beaten, and stabbed.

But from the age of 10 until 2015 (when a ghost of a murdered girl seemed to contact me , and I began praying to her, followed by a string of coincidences) I was not able to be sexually aroused without thoughts of violently murdering , controlling, raping, and commiting necrophilia with women.

Yes, pornography is turning people into rapists, pedophiles, creeps, and weirdos, and is worse for society than legalizing many street drugs.

Drug addiction might create thieves or someone who kills for money. Sexual perversion creates the worst agony anyone should ever have to go through.

I'd rather be murdered or mugged by a junkie in need of a fix than be prey to a pervert who can't control sexual passions.

Sexual immorality promoted by the media creates vicious hearts which leads to a multitude of crimes against people that aren't drug related.

Sexual immorality is possibly the biggest single problem with western civilization, because it's behind so much other sociopathic tendencies, destroying our ability to respect each other, increasing selfishness and stupidity.

That isn't to say the average pornography addict wants to rape and kill, but it doesn't mean their life isn't destroyed in countless other ways.

I agree that pornography and glorification of sex is not as innocent as many make it out to be, but I think you can't put all the blame on that.
Some things could be a personality trait inherited from one of the parents(or a mutation perhaps?).

Ever since I was a kid I've always had a morbid taste.
I've always liked scary stories involving monsters and murder and death with gory details. I didn't care if the stories were so scary that I was afraid to go to the bathroom at night, or had to make a jump into my bed so that the monster hiding under it won't grab my ankle; It was totally worth it.

I remember seeing Jesus Christ Superstar and I liked it.
I was too young to understand anything about the religious message, and too young to understand the artistic value of the movie(I found it weird that people were singing all the time).
But I loved the part where Judas hung himself and where Jesus got whipped and crucified. There was something fascinating and in a way arousing(not sexually, but it did give me a rush) about how his body was so badly injured and yet was still alive while his hands were pierced, and how one moment he is still talking with his broken body, and a moment later he dies.
I also loved skeletons(still do). I especially loved the effect in cartoons where characters got electrocuted and that you can see their bones. In school I made so many drawings of people being electrocuted that it got the teacher worried.

Because of life experience I've grown a bit desensitized to these things, but I never lost my passion for horror fiction and studying the darker and immoral sides of humanity.
I try to use these passions to my advantage, as it can provide me with insight that can be useful for myself as well as for others because many others are too disgusted by these things, but these things are part of life too and happen all the time.

I do see some positive sides in a society that would be more authoritarian.
But this will only work with enough popular support, because otherwise the laws will only be there to keep people down and to be broken if they can't have peace with them, which in turn will lead to people being dishonest, depressed and frustrated because they feel their feelings and needs aren't acknowledged.
