I believe it is, in the disciples of Jesus.

"The Kingdom of God doesn't come with observation; neither will they say, 'Look, here!' or, 'Look, there!' for behold, the Kingdom of God is within you."
Luke 17:20-21

so it's possibly a subjective experience occuring at some point in each beings journey vs an objective experience happening to everyone at the same exact time and space?

I think it means, people who keep Jesus as the king, form the kingdom. And I think it is more than some subjective experience.
