Not my conspiracy theory to get it out of the way. Yea it's Tucker Carlson apparently.

White replacement theory goes mainstream with charges Kamala Harris is masterminding change in US demographics - Times of India

Maybe why nothing is ever done about 'immigration'?

I think its far fetched, but at the same time , who knows?

The border obviously isn't a top priority for this regime.
Whenever one party is pro-immigration, the other accuses it of trying to skew the vote. This is so endemic that it is practically a black tie tradition. What gets confusing is when neither party is pro-immigration, but they both accuse each other of skewing the vote.

White Replacement Theory is extreme racism pure and simple. Carlson might not be a nazi but he's close to being one.

You do realize that Fox News just won a lawsuit on the basis that no reasonable person would take Tucker Carlson seriously, right?

It's obvious to anyone with 3 brain cells or more that the border should not be the highest priority. You have a raging epidemic, causing huge economic hardship.

But I find it interesting, if depressing, to see that US politics is still ,after all these years, all about RACE.

And even more depressing that people on this forum want to give airtime to these paranoid racial conspiracy theories.

Oh wait, I was forgetting, you're black, aren't you? ;)

I don't know much about "white replacement theory," but it does seem rather far-fetched.

Immigration policies have been influenced by a variety of factors, probably more economic than anything else. US businesses want a steady flow of cheap labor. There's also a lot of political support for bringing in refugees and people seeking asylum, since it falls in line with the idea of "give us your tired, your poor, your huddled masses," etc. It's a philosophical position which America has held for quite some time, but it's certainly not any great secret or part of some grandiose conspiracy.

I don't even think it's a given that immigrants would all vote for one party or another. While it may seem that way at present, it doesn't mean it will be that way in the future.

This stuff just gets stupider and stupider. I have to figure that Biden and Harris are doing a pretty good job if this idiotic gibberish is all the right can come up with the sling at them.

Right of foreigners to vote - Wikipedia

So what?

There is no existing treaty nor international union that I'm aware of.

It's a scam to minuplate population demographics to secure votes. It's not the business of foreign individuals to vote in this country anyways and it needs to stay that way.

Same reason I can't vote in most other countries as a foreigner.

I just cited a whole laundry list of countries where, in fact, you can.

Uhh isn’t the white replacement theory the battle cry of the KKK?
I remember learning about that in SOSE class back in the day

Such racist paranoia has shaped much of past immigration movements though
For example Australiastan had a white only policy for a while. Apparently it started to shape what “whiteness” even was. As perceived in society at the time anyway

Yes, in that they use it, no, in that it's more widespread than that.
Great Replacement - Wikipedia
And the sort who promotes this on a highly watched cable "news" network.
Opinion | Why white supremacists love Tucker Carlson's "great replacement" musings
For the past few years, white nationalists around the world have been workshopping a new framing for a much older fear. According to these extremists, immigrants — primarily from developing, and predominately nonwhite, countries — are flooding into the West, seeking to “replace” the current body politic. The rhetoric, couched as the “great replacement” theory, has propelled fascistic massacres from New Zealand to San Diego to El Paso, Texas.

And earlier this month, these white supremacists found a familiar mouthpiece acting as a megaphone for their latest line of bigotry.

For the past few years, white nationalists around the world have been workshopping a new framing for a much older fear.

On Thursday, Fox News host Tucker Carlson seemingly answered whatever questions may remain about his willingness to carry water for these white supremacists. Carlson wailed that the Democratic Party was “trying to replace the current electorate” in the U.S. with “new people, more obedient voters from the Third World.” That, according to Carlson, is “what’s happening actually. Let’s just say it. That’s true.”

Yea like treaty based countries such as the EU.

I'm talking about illegals.
The American Rescue Plan is going to create approximately 7 million jobs. The American Jobs plan would create an additional 2.7 mullion jobs. There are going to then be more jobs available than the current number of American citizens available who are able to fill these nearly 10 million newly created job positions. Not even vast swaths of unharvested food due to a lack of sufficient workforce hasn't budged the issue.
