Death,Why is it so Scary?

I see that you think you're right about your views. Do you receive messages about these things, or do you make it up by yourself?

As I became an adult, I realized so much of religion simply did not add up. This is when I started my journey to Discover the Real Truth regardless of what that truth might be.

In this time-based causal universe God actions can be seen. Understand God's actions and you understand God. In time, one will Discover what this world is all about and why things are done. God hides nothing. All the secrets of the universe stare us all in the face.

Do I get messages?? Let's look at an action of God. God does not give out knowledge and answers. Wisdom is acquired on the journey to Discover knowledge. God is not going to short cut this process.

If you work really hard for years and years, you will acquire more and more knowledge. Who knows, God might even pay you a visit.

The base no one should fall below is that everything about God will add up just like the physics of this world. The people factor adds up as well. The people factor is much more complicated simply because there are so many more variables.

The actions of God can be seen. The actions of God can not be altered by mankind as in all the holy books which are mankind's creations.

That's what I see. It's very clear!!

I can see that 'death is no more than a change', a change from being alive to Not being alive.
So, we need someone who can bring us back to being alive again.
To me, this is where the Bible's promise of a future resurrection comes into the picture.- Acts 24:15
A real physically-healthy resurrection being restored back to see physical life again with the prospect of living forever on Earth.
The same original offer that was originally given to living mankind in the Garden of Eden.
For all people counted as righteous people (Matthew 25:37) they can gain the excellent health as described in Isaiah 35th chapter.

I know you do not realize this but you are not going to want to drag that physical body with you.

That's what I see. It's very clear!!

It's very clear that I see that you and I do not see eye to eye on many things and because you seem to be in some sort of mystical activity, I will just tell you at this point, have a good night. Bye for now..

It's not mysticism that finds answers, It's Math.

God gave everyone a different view to guaranty mankind a larger view than any one person could have. I will never have a problem with the diversity of views. Besides, in time, everyone discovers it anyway.

That's what I see. It's very clear!!

I find at Revelation 7:14; Revelation 7:9 that living people (physical bodies) come through the coming great tribulation.
They are 'saved' (rescued / delivered) alive - Isaiah 26:20.
As for those who are already dead, the ones who have a physical resurrection is because they are in God's memory.
They are in God's Book of Life, so God does Not need the old imperfect body but resurrect with a perfectly healthy physical body. Kind of like if you were to wake up in the morning and find yourself in perfect health.

Yes! I woke up this morning with less pain than I usually have. I was thankful for that, and I look forward to the future. (I believe the pain will come back again before the change-over, but it's nice to have relief, even for a little while.)

A physical body restricts you to the physical laws of this physical universe. You aren't going to want those limitations regardless of how healthy you are.

That's what I see. It's very clear!!

Yes, nice to have relief even for a little while, but here is where the Bible enters the picture for permanent relief.
With the mind's eye we can picture the detailed word picture described for us in Isaiah 35th chapter.
Scripture gives us HOPE:
H old
O n
P ain
E nds

Yup, physical laws restrict : we can't defy the Law of Gravity, we can't defy eating without bad consequences.

I don't see in Eden where Adam and Eve had to ' drag ' their perfectly healthy bodies .......
We are Not promised a sickly-physical body, but a perfectly healthy body as described in Isaiah 35th chapter.

Adam and Eve is just a Story. It's not Reality.

I'm not afraid to die, but I am afraid to leave my loved ones behind. This is both from fear of being separated from them, and worry for their care if I were to kick the bucket(two of my kids have special needs, and one is a toddler).
I agree, I know how much grief my children and grandchildren will go through when I die and it makes me incredibly sad that I might not be around to see what kind of people they become.
From a purely selfish viewpoint while I know I am no-one special it is not so much fear as a deep sadness at the thought of non-existence as there is so much I would like to do and discover the truth of.
I don't know why because so many people say death is part of living and yet I 'feel' there is a wrongness about growing old and dying.

Exactly. I learned (and still believe) that animals have an instinct to get away from danger. That is reasonable. Humans, on the other hand, as you imply, have a different attitude towards death. The Bible says death is the last enemy to be done away with. Seek and ye shall find. Take care, nice hearing your sentiments.

To me you are so very right about the feeling of wrongness.
After all, for each day we can think of we can count both forwards and backwards forever and ever.
So, ' eternity ' is already in our hearts.
This is where Jesus enters into the picture for us.
It is Not selfish to want to be around, but the opposite is what would be selfish.
We would only be non-existent if there was No resurrection hope. Hope of living again.
In the resurrection we could see what kind of people others have become.
Or, if we are still alive at the soon coming time of separating here on Earth (Matthew 25:31-33,37) then we can be here to see the start of calendar Day One of Jesus' coming 1,000-year governmental reign over Earth, and be here to welcome back resurrected loved ones because ' enemy death ' will then be No more on Earth.
- 1 Corinthians 15:26; Isaiah 25:8

There is nothing you can say to me that will bother me so do not worry about disrespect. It's not an issue. Just be yourself.

What about what I said is not clear? God places knowledge all around us. It waits to be Discovered. How long did mankind watch birds fly before they figured out how? The knowledge was there all the time. Was God really hiding anything?

Religion has convinced people everything is a mess so that you need them. In reality, this world is a Masterpiece.

So much is said about God that simply isn't true yet the answers stare us in the face. Why is it easier to accept the beliefs of others rather than Discovering the Truth for ourselves? Answer: Religion is teaching everyone accepting beliefs is more important . Next, Discovery takes much more work than blindly accepting. On the other hand, which supplies the better results??

I hope this clears things up some.

My grandmother prayed for a peaceful death and she died peacefully in her sleep.
So, yes it can be scary about the unknown, and No one wants to leave behind loved ones.
To me this is where the teachings of Jesus gives us comfort and teaches us about the: ' known '.
Jesus' teaches what is ' known ' is that death is a sleep, a temporary sleep until Resurrection Day.
No pain in death just sleep according to Jesus at John 11:11-14.
Jesus taught ' sleep ' because the OT also teaches sleep in death -> Psalms 115:17; Isaiah 38:18; Ecclesiastes 9:5.
Because we can't wake up oneself or another from death's sleep is why we need someone who can wake us up.
According to Scripture, Jesus can and will resurrect the dead back to perfectly healthy life - Revelation 1:18; Acts of the Apostles 24:15.

"Sleep is deaths twin brother." As you sleep in life unaware of the time that passes, so it is in death,
I believe that as you close your eyes in death you awake instantly to the judgement or to God and Christ,
Fleeting almost.... Jesus said, " whoever believes in him and lives shall never die". We can discuss many different beliefs

Old Testament Saul and the medium woke Samuel. The bible teaches many things but trust in God must be first priority.
Christ put God first, didn't he? Your grandmother sounds like a very wise woman.
