Who is in God's Temple?

Matthew 24:15
Now when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of through Daniel the prophet standing in the holy place - whoever reads it, understand it-.
2 Thessalonians 2:3-4
Let no one deceive you in any way, for that day will not come unless the apostasy comes first and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who resists and exalts himself above all that is called God or is worthy of worship, so that he sits down in the temple of God and represents himself that he is God.

Which god built his house on the same place where Solomon built the temple of Yahweh? Which god is today on this holy place?

None, though in the past, Antiochus IV placed and idol of himself as the god Zeus in the Temple. Caligula attempted to have an idol of himself placed in the Temple, but was thwarted.

As one who believes that the elect of God - Christians are the physical temple of God. I believe the "abomination of desolation" is referring to the Antichrist beast system infiltrating the Church and attempting to deceive the elect of God with the doctrine of Demons.

I believe this because we know that Jesus is the temple of God in the new testament, since He abolished the ceremonial laws and fulfilled every requirement on behalf of all believers Jew and Gentile alike. So the temple in the new testament is the whole body of Christ - Church.

I rather believe that these two Bible passages refer to the temple of God built by Solomon.
If we only knew where the temple of God was located, then we could also find out who this false god is that was already prophesied through Daniel. Because this false god has built his own house on this holy place.

We don't find anything in the Bible to suggest that the temple would ever be rebuilt. Why would God want to go back to the old burning of animals when He said it was a stench in His nostrils.

Jesus didn't come into the world the first time to kill His enemies and establish His Kingdom in the world. He said the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but they are spiritual. Jesus has been building His Church (not bricks and molter) but people, since He bound Satan. His kingdom has been expanding for the past 2000 years and it growing faster than any other kingdom.

He will return with millions of Saints, as a man of war. This time He will kill billions and their blood will run as high as the horses bridals. if God wanted a temple, nothing would stop Him but it's obvious He will never allow anyone to rebuild the temple as Jesus is the new Temple.

Did you really mean to put this in interfaith? (In Hinduism, God sits in God's temple. It's way simpler that whatever it is you quoted above.) If you mean it to be a Christian only discussion, I'll bow out now.
