Biden won't penalize Saudi Prince for the killing of journalist Khasahoggi.

Not reading the thread can lead one to false impressions.
Also, it's good form to read a thread before jumping into
a discussion. Then no one need repeat things for you.
Your first response backs up what I said. You're under the impression Biden is doing nothing. Take a gander at your response.

"I expect that Biden has bigger fish to fry than the
Saudis murdering one journalist, evil though that be."

This statement alludes to Biden doing nothing because there are 'bigger fish to fry.'
In reality, Biden is doing a whole lot more than Trump did.

Would you prefer tweets and video of Trump's responses concerning the killing of an American journalist?

There you go.
I wasn't criticizing Biden.
"Bigger fish to fry" suggests nothing was done because there is a larger kingpin to focus attention on.
You're ignoring something was actually done.

Biden Won’t Penalize Saudi Crown Prince Over Khashoggi’s Killing, Fearing Relations Breach

My my.

Politics before humanity and justice.

Biden is full of surprises so far. Wonder what in store next?

Honestly? I would expect nothing less... Turning a blind eye to Saudi Arabia's atrocities has been American policy for quite a while, now. From Biden, I expect more of the same.

That said, I'm perfectly fine with not playing the role of "world police." Especially when it comes to the country that literally contains Mecca. It wouldn't be to wise to involve ourselves in the affairs of a country that a massive portion of the world visits on a regular basis based on their religious tenants. Now, if only we'd stop meddling in the affairs of their neighbors, too...

I agree with that. It's high time that the US stops playing policeman and focuses on our own affairs and domestic issues for a change.

That includes foreign aid with exceptions for disaster, allies under wartime conditions, and nuclear capabilities by regimes that pose a real threat to the US and its allies.

I'm wondering the same thing in kind. Was it tribal dislike that Biden was elected?
Recently I've seen a whole spate of articles about how emotions rule and not intellect. Trump refused to release the report and did not sanction. Biden released the report and did not sanction MBS but he did send a message by talking with the Saudi king instead.

We can't police the world. But we can act according to our ideals. Differentiating the two is to me tricky.
