If god where to appear to solve all that, what nature would he appear in?

Is he like a ghost that would tape children on the head and they'd be cured?
A force of some sort that springs them alive?
Is he invisible and all children and adults miraculously become healthy?

Hey, he/she is the god don't ask me to define their coming out clothing.

It would be up to the god in question. If a god exists he would know how to manifest himself to cause belief.

Edit

Yes, but that doesn't answer the question from a human perspective. It kinda side steps it. Since there is a concept of god in which some atheist speak of, what is their concept of an invisible being involved in human affairs. Their perspective not god's (whatever he is-hence the question).

Are you referring to Aintinous?

We do not really have a concept of god. That is why we ask questions such as "Which one?" If there was an omnipotent omniscient god he, she, it would know how to reveal itself to demonstrate its reality if it wanted to. Since we have no idea of what god is we can only make very general claims. More specific claims could be applied to specific gods. As in the example in my first reply.

But you must have some sort of concept to blame him (is it a him?) for not curing sick children.

Who exactly isn't curing children?
What is the nature of this god that's not doing anything to help anyone?

Using the term god doesn't clarify what you mean since there are so many types of god, it needs to be more distinct.

Firstly, a god should be compassionate.
She should not inflict pain, should look after children, should halt starvation, stop child illness, etc.
She should update her edicts on slavery, homosexuality, abortion, etc.

Then she should appear before her followers and the non-believers, on telly, in person, on the internet.

Finally she should say, I do not need you to worship me.

But how would you know if it reveals itself?

How can you tell (or what criteria would you and atheists use) to know whether or not god reveals itself?

"God doesn't exist because we have sick children" (my words) doesn't mean anything. If god was a foreign term, then I can see it. Since it has definitions, there is too many to figure what you talk about.

What makes you think that God is behind all this ? Why NOT somebody else ? :)

So, you BELIEVE there’s God. But, he is immoral guy ?
You need to work on your listening skills since I did not say nor imply that.

Unfortunately this sort of question does imply that your version of god may be immoral. A person that understood how a god acting in that way would be immoral would not need to ask.

If all children were cured all of the sudden, would you guys believe that's god or would you have specific criteria to determine it so?
