He fought the good fight of faith. A fighter to the end. A world changer. He left the world having made it a better place IMO.
I hadn't heard him in decades, but I recall
that he never had a harsh word for atheists.

See, I only know him for his recent stuff and his politics were something I did not agree with. Maybe his earlier stuff was better.

I don't know how he changed or didn't in the
subsequent decades. I liked the comedy bits,
& a view different from NPR.

I read that earlier today, and my first thoughts were of the episode he did on Family Guy playing himself. It was a decent episode, a surprising "across the aisle" extension of a bipartisan effort, and it did show Limbaugh could at least take it like he gave it.

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
thanks for sharing. I don't know much about the guy personally but I'm glad he's not in any pain now. :)

Even in face of differences, there are still the humanities.

I felt the same as with Ed Schultz, the Rush Limbaugh of the left.

Very true. We have alot to remember about each other, beyond our political labels and loyalties.

Here's to some saner and less frustrating and polarising times... :beercheers:

Those Rush and Air America days where Ed was aired in my area after Randi Rhoades. Funny thing is at first I thought it strange that Rush would be there, then of course I realized that's not Rush. *grin*

Yep. I listened to them all. They all have a charisma weither one agrees or not.

Cheers
