I'm pretty sure the Bible doesn't say that...

I believe it says this about living in a bunker:
Rev 6:15 Then the kings of the earth and the great ones and the generals and the rich and the powerful, and everyone, slave and free, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains,

Timing of course is a problem and no way to know if gold is worth anything in a post apocalyptic world. As for Christians ,we are raptured and don't need to worry about it.

I think ALL holy books should be revised and updated regularly - why not?
Windows gets updated regularly, why not KJ Bible v3.2 or maybe it should be the Queen Elizabeth Bible v1.3

With 10,000 denominations we could have 10,000 versions.

The Bible could be made much better. e.g.
  • Update it to explicitly ban slavery.
  • Update the 10 Commandments so that it includes,'look after the planet' and 'project children' and bin some of the useless ones
Are those positive enough?

I believe the Bible already says look after the planet but it does not place that higher than looking after people.

I believe slavery serves a useful purpose. What the Bible forbids is an abuse of power.

I've heard this stated before, but where?

You must give more details on that.
Slavery is horrible, what useful purpose does it serve that could not be 100 times better with a free and paid employee

I believe this serves as a partial concept, since it is very specific t the Adamic race: Gen. 2:15 The LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it.

In the beginning man was given dominion but then everything was good including men so the world would be cared for. Gen1:26 Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

I believe the Master/Servant relationship of Jesus to believers is a form of slavery and I consider it a very good thing. My master is good but if one were to sell his soul to the Devil, the devil is evil and that would be horrible.

Would you want to be my slave under the rules and regulations your bible sets out?

Folks have, for some reason, always liked to read modern politics into the Bible in bizarre ways. I have no idea why.
Many people consider the Bible some kind of authority on human life and the world at large, so I can understand the attraction of seeing one's strange ideas validated by it.

I believe the Adamic race started with Adam and Eve but is actually a subset of the Indian race.

I believe in being a slave to Jesus and not to he rules of the Bible.
