I just texted my daughter to verify or deny this allegation. Her exact quote...

“Lmao I use that emoji all the time :tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:

I can never remember what generation I'm considered to be. I think I'm an in-betweener of two generations or something like that. Anyhow, I use that quite a lot.
Besides, who takes the time to write this nonsense?

People who know things generally define millennial as people born between 81 and 96. If you're born 97 or later, you're Gen Z.

Clearly, it matters to someone.

But, heck, if something doesn’t matter to you, why not lift your leg on it?
I obviously meant "matters" in a more objective sense. And yes - why not lift a leg to it and urinate all over the stupid thing? What harm is there to that? Again - there is nothing even nearing objective weight to use or non-use of "emojis."

Contrast it with something like water, air/oxygen, shelter, food, clothing/warmth - and further down the chain love, ecology, help/friends, exercise, education. Still further down - comfort, income, hobbies, practice, sports.

Is this a subjectively weighted list by myself? Sure... but it displays that there are a hell of a lot of things to be concerned about (and that we'd likely all be concerned about) before we get to "emojis." Holy crap.

Reminds me of a quote from the movie "Shark Tale" that I thought was the best part of the movie. Will Smith's character's (Oscar's) boss was explaining to him his role in society:

Sykes : Simple - the food chain!
[Pulls out chart]
Sykes : On top there's Don Lino, there's me, there's regular fish...
Oscar : And that's me!
Sykes : No. There's plankton, there's single-celled amoebas...
Oscar : And then me!
Sykes : I'm getting there, I'm getting there... There's coral, there's rocks, there's whale poo, and then there's you.

Emojis are "whale poo" or lower. Anyone who says different I would immediately judge to not have their priorities in very good order. Go ahead - ask me to apologize.

'Generation Z' Someone hasn't thought this through...this thing using letters. XYZ...there's no letter after Z. There is no next letter. Its like they're announcing no more generations are possible. They need to stop doing this.

Maybe they'll just start over with Gen A?

Who came up with the word millennial. I always hated that. "Them millennials on their cell phones" and I come around the corner seeing a resident in her late 80s showing me how to use her iPad.

...it's a joke thread.
