As I said, you keep swallowing what the enemy of freedom of speech and freedom of conscience (mainstream media) says about President Trump, but you can make us believe something just because the enemy says it's so.

I'm not talking about media.

I'm talking about the courts and the republican judges, some of them appointed by Trump himself, who universally dismissed his claims of election fraud over and over and over and over and over again, while pointing at the complete lack of any shred of evidence.

This is false and recognized as false by virtually all biblical scholars.
It just depends on what you consider to be acceptable, if you think the apostles used lap top computers to note everything down then we have a problem.
I don't care if they scribed it on stone tablets before it was printed,
This is false and recognized as false by virtually all biblical scholars.
What's false about it and which scholars are you talking about. Let me guess, someone told you it's false and you forgot the name of the wise guys who found faults in them.

Do you see the similarities between this way of thinking and those of cult members?

The problem, as I see it, is in methods of thought expressed here. EVEN IF THE BELIEFS ARE TRUE, this is a dangerous way of thinking.

And I believe your beliefs are not only false, but badly false.
I don't see any similarities, Jesus never taught us to drink cool aid. He gives us eternal life in paradise for free, now beat that deal.

I see you have your shield raised and your truth filter set on high; so I'll give it a miss this time.

Oh, the ironies!

Weren't you the one that said that the world was created to *look* old, thereby negating all of the evidence?

That's a pretty good filter right there.

Your philosophy would be wonderful if it weren't for the cold hard truth that all the judges and Republican turncoats are on the same payroll. Do you really believe they would abandon their cushy lifestyles and their big fat pay checks for the sake of upholding the truth and justice.
If you believe that I have a Golden Gate bridge to sell you

Your philosophy would also be wonderful if you could find a shred of evidence to support the old earth theory. But sadly you have nothing but a wild unproven theory to back your belief with

It is according to mainstream theology. And it is also what I understood when I read it.

So, in your theology, can a non-christian (as in: someone who doesn't believe in the bible / jesus / what-have-you) get to heaven?
When you find out what the Bible teaches about Eternal Life and how to get it, then all those questions will be clear to you.

If you simply deny the evidence by saying the Earth was made to 'look old', then there is nothing I can do.

I could claim the Earth was made Last Thursday complete with all of our memories and to look old. It is a silly position to take, but yours is the equivalent one, just replacing Last Thursday with 6000 years ago.

Not sure if your question is serious or a poor attempt at humouring me, but I'll answer it anyway.

Everything someone says, is worthless verbal diarrhoea unless they can back it up with irrefutable proof.

Cool. So in order to say that we should trust what Jesus said you have to show irrefutable proof first, which you haven't done so far.

The only valid sources you have supporting you are those you support which were never yours but you were told by them that they have a monopoly on truth.
this is what secular pseudo science does, it takes people and indoctrinates them from the cradle to the grave.
So you have never ever examined anything independently and everything you think you know has been spoon fed to you.
You have never discovered a single thing, or arrived at any decision independently. The way secular education works is, you just swallow and regurgitate at exam time. Critical thinking and independent examining is banned.

I have nothing against you for this, billions are in the same boat, I was accused of causing disruption in my science class for asking inconvenient questions and presenting a different view to that of the accepted secular view. My university professor didn't like me and I knew that he wasn't going to give good marks so I left.
LOL! Oh my! Massive projection.

Try again.

The whole world was watching the elections with great interest, since the US is in very deep debt to most of the large economies. Most intelligent people from around the world can see the electrol process was corrupt to the core.
Now that the lunatics have taken over the asylum, life in the US will change forever but not for the good of Americans. now you will see sweat shops everywhere, people will have to work for the same wages as the Chinese which is like $10 a day
The demand for "Citation needed" arises when someone says something that is so outrageous that a reliable source is needed to support it. You are definitely not a reliable source.

It may sound silly but it's the best humanity has, everything else is pure fantasy.

So you claim. I say we should take the evidence we have seriously.

You are saying that no evidence, however good, could prove you wrong because you are willing to say it was simply made to look some way.

That is denial.

The question didn't concern me, it was regarding anyone who makes a big claim and what they base their claim on and what evidence they have for it.
I've never made any claims, I just paraphrase the One who made the claim that He is the truth and He proved it by showing that He is the almighty God creator of all thing by demonstrating His power over the natural world and the spiritual and over life and death.

There's no other god, or guru, or spiritual leader, or big shot scientist who can create a single speck of dust or command anything to come into existence by speaking it into existence. So I'll trash the rest and stick with the best. I will join you as soon as you have something more than wild fantasy to offer.

I'm not saying anything of the sort, I'm merely quoting the One who created it. He ought to know what He did.

You are quoting what you *believe* is from the one that created it.

But that belief is, itself, the one in question. To use it to deny otherwise overwhelming evidence is not an adherence to the truth, but a commitment to refuse to even consider anything contrary to your own beliefs.

And that is making *you* the judge of what is and is not true. That happens *before* you accept whether there is a God or not.
