Are evangelical Christians in America anti-Jewish? I would say being evangelical and anti-Jewish are mutually exclusive claims. Although it wouldn't be the first time people let their hate trump consistency. From my perspective as a Christian man myself from my own personal experience and having attended Bible college and gotten a degree in theology from what many would consider a evangelical school, I only ever heard a great deal of respect being pointed at the Jewish people. Could this be the case a small minority that yell the loudest? Kinda like the regressive left from the other side of the spectrum?
Given what I’ve seen of various evangelicals, I wouldn’t be surprised if they were. But in saying that, my exposure is mainly through atheists responding to various evangelical YouTube videos. So I always assumed a little sensationalism was taking place.
Although I recall one of my history teachers lamenting that the Nazis weren’t the first Christians (or at least a group calling themselves Christians) to express antisemitism. But that could have just been a reference to a general anti semitism thing.
I, too, am kind of curious to know if this is a legit phenomenon

Evangelicalism is the belief that people are saved by grace alone through Jesus. That makes up pretty much all of the Protestant denominations. The anti Jew thing is not a major factor of our belief system in fact Jesus himself was a Jew (specifically if u look at his teachings he is closer to a pharasee than anything). People like to justify their hatred to things in any way they can even if it means distorting other messages that they feel have more clout than theirs.

I think people have gotten in the habit of jumping on these people dispite them being in a massive minority and using them to tarnish other people from that group. Easier not to win an argument if u can throw an "ism" at someone and call it a day.

My own religion
We don't ever see statistics about what percentage of Dems
& Pubs are white supremacists, black separatists, arsonists,
looters, Christian nationalists, socialists, & other evil misfits.
So I go by the great many people I meet & discuss issues
with....a warped perspective, I know. But I do get outside of
my liberal community, & spend some time in the backwoods.
I try to avoid letting the extreme elements in crowds color my
general view of groups.....with some success.

That is not very relevant, because of your "coloring" as with other evil misfits.
Now I have seem articles on different hate groups including black ones; the amount of nativism among Republicans versus Democrats and the amount of hate group crimes for the left and right.

In general after doing this for 4 years now, i.e. following US politics and reading articles I get the following impression. In one sense there is maybe as per amount of crimes simply counting the number of acts maybe an equal amount of crimes committed on both sides.
Now here me out. It appears there are in sheer numbers more crimes done by the left, but when you look closer there are 2 factors that complicate that:
One; the police forces of the USA have a tendency to "over-catch" black people. I.e. they patrol and enforce more among the black than the non black, which means for crimes committed as often for blacks and non-blacks, they catch more black proportionally. Now in general all police forces around the world upholds the status quo and are authoritarian in nature. That for the USA means that they favor the right as the right wants to preserve the current status. It means in practice that protests against the current order from the left could be dealt with harder and thus produce more crimes.
Two; among protests on the left, they tend to involve more large gatherings and get out of control. It has been reported that criminals take advantages of this to done crime during out of control protests.

Further; the reports of actual hate groups show more on the right than the left. Now we can going into the sociology of being non-white, poor and so on. And to what degree the USA has some forms of structural racisms and how it is hard to spot one's own bias. Further there are studies that show that people more and more separate along party lines. And where there used to be more or less an equal amount of white nativism and racism among both parties, but current studies show that they are now prevalent on the right.

So in non nice words for this part:
"We don't ever see statistics about what percentage of Dems
& Pubs are white supremacists, black separatists, arsonists,
looters, Christian nationalists, socialists, & other evil misfits."
You don't look close enough. It is out there.

To sum up historically. The USA is not racist, but it has because of its history not yet overcome some aspects of how to deal with racism.

Oh I see.

I have run into my fair share of Christians who were quite anti Semitic, based on my interactions with them. Which baffled me since I mean like you say, Jesus was Jewish. But I don’t know what denomination they were from, specifically. So maybe it’s a thing in certain denominations? I don’t know
And it could very well be a thing in America. Some of their evangelicals make ours look like atheists, if you get my meaning?

Perhaps. I feel this also might be a very human thing to do in general.
I recall seeing that happen around me when we voted on same sex marriage. It was like all of a sudden one gay person being a jerk was proof they were all jerks? Just stupidity and painting with broad brushes all over.
That whole debacle made me even more anti human, I’m afraid.

Still, without statistics, we have what we observe in person & on the
news. Thus my "irrelevant" observations are no worse than yours.

All I am trying to do is to give a more "normal" viewpoint vs what you might perceive in Australia.
Appreciated.
Perhaps there’s just a bit too much “history” there for me to fully grasp?
I mean there’s all these seeming long standing feuds and accusations and whatever. I mean I get it, that’s like any country’s politics. We all have our little nuances that only locals will be able to spot or perhaps get carried away by.
My perception is that of an outsiders. So don’t take it too seriously.

I would say it was very much an individual thing, but I'm open too America itself could have that anti-Semite problem. I know it makes no sense why! I agree some of the religious guys make me angry. Although I live in northern Ireland and people can get really super conservative here too

Ugh sorry that happened in your country man it's so frustrating because when people are throwing verbal incendiaries at each other nothing is getting resolved.

I completely understand.

The greatest frustration of most people in the States is that we send them to Congress as normal people and then something happens when they get there. It is the infamous Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde syndrome.

They didn't change.
In Congress we finally get to see who they are.

Well, then start looking for actual reporting on statistics and analysis of the difference between the left and right. I won't do it for you, because you claim it is not there. So it is upon you to look and really look to show that it is not there. When you then do that, you will find that it is there. But I won't do it for you, because IFF you are biased, you won't be able to spot it.

In other words, you claim there are no statistics. They are there. But it involves that you can separate different kinds of biases and become neutral. I don't know if you can do that.
I know I can do it in limited sense and even to a certain degree understand the limitations in be a Scandinavian social democrat.

Huh. I feel like over here we send them in expecting nothing but BS. But we vote for our least hated party of the choices. If one elects to write on the ballot, that is. Whilst voting is mandatory, we can just enter a blank ballot and be fine. Maybe you guys have more trust than we do, I dunno

I'm not asking you to look for anything.
Just noting the absence of statistics supporting
claims that people make about the composition
of their political foes.

Oh I’ve heard tales about Northern Ireland politics. Not always positive. Hope you’re doing okay.
But yeah, America could have its own unique flavour. I mean wasn’t it there that the puritans escaped England to?
American Evangelicalism seems a tad more extreme to my eyes. But again limited experience on my part. So I’m probably wrong

Cheers mate. It was more the vitriol than anything. I’m okay with people having political opinions that differ from mine. That’s what democracy is supposed to be about after all, yeah?
But when vitriol enters the mix is when I start looking for the nearest exit. And some people really surprised me during that time. And not always for the better either. Which was disappointing.

& supporters are anti-Jew.
Lot's of indicators.

The bottomline is the Democrats are afraid of Trump running in 2024. This is the only reason this is happening. These actions do not follow any precedent, other than the result of the fear and rage of angry scum bags. Trump was one of the few people, not to be afraid of fake news, and the swamp criminals and hypocrites. He poked fun at them with labels like Crazy Nancy, Crooked Hillary and Sleepy Joe, all of which fit the bill.

The Democrats know that they will not be allowed to cheat in 2024, using the same levels of voter fraud as 2020. There will be too much time for the Republicans to firm up the voting rules, so voting becomes less prone to left wing fraud. The Democrats know this and also know that they're only hope is to disqualify Trump from another run, using lying, cheating, theatrics and pressure. Watch the stink that the Democrats will make, when they are required to button up all the easy fraud sources.

Trump was a nicer person to the Democrats, than they were to him, while Trump was in office. He never pushed for impeachment of Obama and Biden, for their well documented Watergate style spying crimes. Nixon only used Campaign Aids to spy on the Democrats. Biden and Obama used government resources; FBI and CIA to spy on an opposition candidate. This made Nixon crimes look like small potatoes. Bidden should have been sent to jail and disqualified in 2020, if the same swamp circus was applied to him.

The observation that nobody will go to jail for the spying was a prediction I made in 2016. The Democrats still use Watergate and spying as an example of Presidential crime, but exclude themselves when they do the spying. Nobody going to jail, appears to be due to the old adage that a good soldier does not go to jail for faithfully following orders. People like Comey and Brennan were following orders and were being good soldiers. Both were promised pardons, for their criminal actions, since it was assumed Hillary would win, and she would offer pardons if needed.

The second failed impeachment of Trump may come back to bite Obama and Biden and the Democrats, when the shoe is on other foot, after the 2022 midterms. The Democrats are already alienating voters by promising unity but acting as hypocrites and partisans. People like Pelosi and Schumer, who were up to their necks in the spying crimes of Biden and Obama, may have to testify under oath in 2022. There may be a large Democrat retirement exodus in 2022 to avoid the spectacle. Trump needs to play as dirty, against the Democrats and they do to him and clean the House and Senate of its swamp criminals.

I am good at making predictions. I predicted in 2016, that the Democrats would do whatever it took to defeat Trump, while in office, and then in 2020, since the spying and their other add-on crimes were about to be exposed. The expectation for 202o was that the swamp criminals would add even more crimes, like cheating and fraud, to win the election. Watch how this next sequence in 2022 plays out. When Trump wins in 2024, he will not be as nice to the remaining criminals, since they have shown their true colors, as being mean spirited bullies and villains. As they have done to others, so it shall be done to them.
