The Kingdom; hard to envision?

Imagine a world without wars, without crime, poverty, or even sickness and death. Virtually impossible right? Yet that is what Jehovah promises, and just as sure as His existence it will come about.

I believe the Kingdom has come nigh unto us!

Luke 4:43And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.

Matt 4:23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

In which generation will this happen?

Don't ask that to Jehovah Witness they already split in a couple of smaller sects after many failed predictions. I think they ot wiser since it's been a while since they attempted to make a prediction of the sort with a clear timeframe and now prefer the "soon" qualifier.

Yep, and I think it was Francis of Assisi who was asked what he would do if he was told that Jesus had returned while he was working in the garden, and his response was he would finish tilling the garden because he could always see Jesus later.

The Bible tells us the scene of this world is changing. Many people are seeing those changes sir. Mat chap 24 gives us a heads up on the time period, but does not go into exact details. We have reason to believe Jesus was enthroned as King in 1914, and part of that sign was that the generation that observed the start of his presence, would not die off prior to the fulfillment. Mat 24:34

The day and hour is not known at this time.

Yes sir, very. I will finalize by some of the last words of the Bible in which I am sure you would agree: Amen! Come Lord Jesus.

What reason do you have to believe that Jesus was enthroned as King in 1914. And King of what?

What is the purpose of Jehovah keeping the timeline of the event secret?

Also, if Jehovah promised this, what is he waiting for?

Great question sir. The real truth is that the vast majority of mankind still put their trust in human leaders to solve this worlds problems. They still want to be their own gods.

For that reason, Jehovah is going to allow mankind to go to the point of extinction before stepping in. Mat 24:22

Seems to me to be a bit destructive, no? To me, it's akin to standing idly by while a riot plays out.

Which frankly sounds evil to me.
