I'm not going to feel sure of exactly what Trump will do next until he's six feet under and six months past his very last wet dream of separating another child from her mother.

In my opinion, the reports by his aides of Trump's emotions when he was planning and then demanding that children and parents be separated ought to be required high school reading in the public schools for at least one or two decades. Seriously.

You think that's harsh, you ought to hear me on one my rare truly bad days.

Here's a prediction for y'all. There are already things coming out that people who were in the room with Trump when he schemed them kept a lid on for fear of what Trump might do if he found out who was revealing them. I suspect we haven't seen even the tip of the iceberg yet. So, I predict that by summer, there will be a whole lot more people who are thinking like me than there are today.

That may be true, but don't expect Trumpers to believe any of it. They're ready with the pre-programmed talking points.

Excuses expected when new information comes out about Trump's crookedness:

"These are just disgruntled employees"
"This is proof of the deep state"
"These are RINO's and Never-Trumpers"
"They're only doing this for a book deal"
"Fake news"

Remember, Trump and his cult are the "victims"......always.

'Trumpers' is a huge category almost any way you define it, and it is a much more diverse category than most of us know. Doctors, business owners, and other professionals are mixed right in there with the larger element of urban working class people and rural people. So it's problematic to make unqualified, sweeping generalizations about them. But what makes you think I need help recognizing their overall tendency to be close-minded to ideas not introduced by 'one of their own'?

If you are actually interested, I sometime back gave up on thinking about them when I post, unless I am directly addressing a Trump supporter. That was soon enough followed by routinely skipping over almost all of their posts. I'm not trying to snub them. Far from it. I've just adjusted to the fact there's no meaningful political communication between the camps any more.

And I recommend what I'm doing -- or not doing -- to everyone, on both sides. There's no point even trying now. Almost everything each side says to the other now does little more than help people get high on gratuitous outrage.

What does someone's profession have to do with being called a Trumper? Trumper = Trump supporter.
But what makes you think I need help recognizing their overall tendency to be close-minded to ideas not introduced by 'one of their own'?
The help wasn't necessarily for you, but to warn others so they're not surprised when the canned responses pop up.

I won't give up until the problem is fixed. And the problem is psychological. You're not going to have cohesiveness or unity in America until that happens. It's an immediate concern of mine.

You're welcome to do whatever you want. You don't have to tell me what to do.

And you don't have to tell him what not to do. Now that we have that clear ... :)

I don't think you've caught on, yet. I am in no way telling you what to do. I am not even close to believing I owe you anything that would logically imply I was in some way responsible for your thinking or behavior. In fact, the idea of it appalls me.
