I tend to avoid articles with PC buzzwords anymore. I read, I studied, not much more for me to learn about the Evangelical Left.I was hoping that someone would enjoy that article as much as I did.
Woohoo!

Later on the very same day he went to the Lincoln Memorial, which is Federal property and did not wear a mask.
Nope, he did not violate it.On Wednesday President Biden issued an Executive Order requiring all person on Federal property to wear a mask. Later on the very same day he went to the Lincoln Memorial, which is Federal property and did not wear a mask.
On the same visit his grandchildren who were with him posed without masks.
I have never “worshiped” Trump. Don’t even really like him, though I don’t personally know him, he has displayed plenty of behavior I dislike. I will admit I’m not filled with chronic, irrational hate that so many seem to be.Considering that you two have worshiped a morally bankrupt buffoon for the last four years, are either of you really in a position to make such judgement?
I think you mistake irrational hate for rational judgement - given that so many outside of America see much the same in him - whether it is his personality and behaviour or his decision-making.I have never “worshiped” Trump. I'm sure that is true but one can't mistake a nasty, obnoxious individual when one sees one - not if one has a shred of decency within. And perhaps because many are just not so endeared to the Right or bullish leaders (apart from those who have such leaders too - but I doubt they all are joyful in such), even if they also are not endeared to the Left.My impression is that Trump is widely disliked outside the US, partly because he alienated many allies.

I agree, Trump is thoroughly obnoxious. But why don't Trump supporters recognise this?
Allegiance to the Republicans? Such that they can still ignore his faults if he goes roughly in the direction they want. I found this rather difficult with Corbyn, even though I would never vote Tory, and Corbyn being a much less objectionable person than Trump. Almost the opposite in fact.I agree, Trump is thoroughly obnoxious. But why don't Trump supporters recognise this?

I suppose. There are some weird people around. Perhaps they have strange concepts as to what a leader should be, especially when he appears so foolish in public, but perhaps not to them.Trump seems to have a cult-like following, that's the bit I find strange.
Really? I’ve only seen constant hate from the left since day one of Trump’s presidency. I don’t even like him and have considered him arrogant and prideful, but the hate toward him has been unprecedented and unlike anything I’ve seen before. The irrational hate and irrationality in genera, has largely been demonstrated by Trump and his supporters.
The impeachment of trump will be heard in the sennet in February.
Well, this seems like irrational hate to me:I think you mistake irrational hate for rational judgement - given that so many outside of America see much the same in him - whether it is his personality and behaviour or his decision-making.
Yeah, the right was just SOOOO kind to Obama for 8 years...Really? I’ve only seen constant hate from the left since day one of Trump’s presidency. I’m not saying they were, but I don’t remember then knocking every single thing he did or holding up caricatures of his bloody chopped off head.Yeah, the right was just SOOOO kind to Obama for 8 years...
Then you weren't paying attention.I’m not saying they were, but I don’t remember then knocking every single thing he did or holding up caricatures of his bloody chopped off head.
