Question Concerning Negative Test For Covid-19

At the present time if you want to travel to the United States from overseas via airtravel one must show a negative test for Covid-19 three days prior to your flight.
The new US Covid-19 test requirement for travelers: What you need to know

Now for the question. How about illegal alians entering the country, whoops meant non-citizens, do they have to have proof that they have tested negative for Covid-19 prior to crossing the border? Inquiring minds want to know.

Obviously not. Refuges aren't submited to that type of things prior to entry though they will have to be tested for the disease while they are in triage and if found to be carrying the disease will have to be in quarentine in detention centers, rented motel/hotel room, etc. Impoverished countries like Guatemala or Honduras for example don't have extanded testing capacities anyway and the poorest inhabitant of these countries are unlikely to have access to qualified nurses and doctors let alone COVID-19 tests. It's not rare for refuges to receive a medical exam if they report symptomes of illnesses paid by the State of course since it falls under its responsability much like prisonners healthcare.

How do you think it should be handled?

You won't need a COVID result report if you sneak onto the plane...
You wouldn't even need a ticket

Though I have no idea how sneaking across the border on land has anything to do with a plane ride...

After reading the political posts on the Forum this evening, I would sneak on a plane myself. If I knew it was leaving the country.

Does anyone know if the Iranians have easy access to quality Balinese fishnet donkey porn?

Well it you would stop and think you would see that the US is requiring anyone arriving by aircraft into the US to not be postive for Covid-19. So if you are requiring this of legal vistors why would we not be worried about those crossing into the US at our southern border. Or is it because the past administration did everything they legally could do to stop illegal border crossing and since it was the previous administration it must be bad.

It seems that you are rather confused. The previous administration did very very little to prevent illegal crossings into our country.
He put up a few miles of extra wall out in the middle of nowhere, but that stopped almost nothing at all. It was a sad and pathetic attempt to play at the fears of his base supporters. In that regard it did work.:):)
Oh yeah. Now that I think about it, he did leave open our borders to Europeans infected with Covd-19, while belatedly shutting the door on people from “Jina”. Unless of course they had lots of money. ;)
We won’t even get into his anti-American policies of family/child separations.:eek:
Luckily President Biden has stated that he will try to clean up that mess too. ;)

Spam, wonderful spam (bloody vikings!)
The main concern in the US currently seems to be the UK variant of Covid.

Good to see that Dr. Fauci is now being allowed to do his job properly.

This is idiotic. Next, you'll be complaining that some burglars aren't wearing masks.

I believe countries governed by sharia block all porn servers.

I'm touched by your apparently sudden concern about the pandemic.

I trust that it's expressed in other ways - such as supporting paid sick leave for anyone who needs to self-isolate - and isn't merely being used by you as excuse to justify cruelty to vulnerable people.

Except that Trumps wall, which the Mexicans are stealing, has done absolutely NOTHING to even slow down the border crossings, let alone stop it.
So now I must ask why you think that people illegally crossing the border are going to comply with a COVID report.

Do you think if they present one to Border Patrol if they get caught that Border Patrol is going to be like "Oh, You have a COVID negative test result? My bad, carry on and have a nice day."

Well I see the TDS is still alive and kicking.
It has some of you so addled that you can not see the hypocrisy in the requirements for anyone entering the country via an airline and support for allowing non-citiizens (I'll play the word game) entry into the country without those same requirements.

people seeking asylum are doing the legal method of showing up at ports of entry. there's nothing illegal about it. We learn new things everyday don't we?

No, I'm just trying to conform to a certain group of people. I don't want to be sent to a re-education camp:D
