It pains me to think that the country where a lot of my friends live is in such a difficult state at the moment, but I have hope that it could recover and learn from past mistakes.

Good luck, Americans! I hope the Biden administration proves good for the U.S. and the rest of the world--or at least better than expected, if you're one of his critics.

At least keast there is a LOT better chance of it than in the last 4 years.

Although frankly, Obama kept holding out the olive branch only to get his arm chewed off. Hopefully President Biden will use love that is somewhat harder than that. America and the Republicans sorely require it.
But first there are many crimes and bad/naïve policies and blatant lies to correct.
At last an adult is in charge. Now we can begin to “Build Back Better.”

I hope you're right but don't expect miracles. And of course to have bipartisan cooperation you have to have agreement that cooperating is better than fighting.

Otherwise we'll be right back where we were when President Obama named a SCOTUS candidate Republicans said was a good choice only to have the right lie about motives to stiff arm him.
