I experience a connexion with G-d (the G-d I worship) that I never felt with any other with which I attempted to connect. I'm not talking about a nice fuzzy feeling (although it can be, or any number of experiential feelings) or anything like that; it's almost like that feeling you have when you know beforehand that there's someone else in the room with you prior to your looking. What were those experiences that caused it to make sense to you, if you don't mind my asking?
Those other religions had one or another fatal flaws I simply couldn't move past, as well as my not being able to connect with their deity/ies.Why do you think that it makes more sense than the other religions you looked into, if you don't mind my asking?

so you believe people who are kind and good do not go to heaven just because they have believed in the wrong religion? What about...
Matthew 22:35-38 - . . .: 36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” 37 He said to him: “‘You must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind.’ 38 This is the greatest and first commandment.
John 15:14.- . .You are my friends if you do what I am commanding you.
1 John 5:3 - For this is what the love of God means, that we observe his commandments; . . .
How can we be accepted by God, if we are not doing his will?
Matthew 7:21-23 ; 1 Timothy 2:3, 4)
Interestingly, the Bible says they are only two roads. They lead to drastically different ends. The scenery is different, but one must be careful what grabs his attention, if they are to make it to the end. Matthew 7:13, 14It's satisfying mentally, emotionally and spiritually. From an intellectual perspective, all my questions are answered in a coherent way.

According to Jesus, God does not care about kindness elusive of righteousness, with obedience.so you believe people who are kind and good do not go to heaven just because they have believed in the wrong religion?
I follow my Guru (as good as I can). My guru declared He did not start a new Religion, so it's more "I follow Guru not Religion, for me"Why do you follow the religion you belong to now?
No, I was born into Christian Faith. Although, from young age, I felt the values I had, I later discovered, were those my Guru represents and lives byWere you born into the faith?
Does not apply to me. But I accepted my Guru as my MasterDid you convert?
I believe my Guru can guide me to the highest Truth. His name is Sathya, which means Truth, so that makes it easy. Why do you believe your religion is the truth?
but what about a person who is kind and at the same time believes in a monotheistic God but not the Christian god? Does that person go to heaven?According to Jesus, God does not care about kindness elusive of righteousness, with obedience.
Even Saul was told, that to obey is better than sacrifice. 1 Samuel 15:22
If one does not love God, how can that count as holy?
Okay thanks, that makes sense.I experience a connexion with G-d (the G-d I worship) that I never felt with any other with which I attempted to connect. Reading the Scripture and finding it to make more sense to my view of the world or even being able to change my view, what I'd been taught, than any other scripture. All my questions about it had been sufficiently answered in a way I never found for other religions.
Prophecies fulfilled, prayers answered etc. all the usual religious stuff.
If/when you have time, maybe you can explain what those fatal flaws are. I am really curious. Those other religions had one or another fatal flaws I simply couldn't move past, as well as my not being able to connect with their deity/ies.
Sorry, I would write more but I'm busy writing something else

I can't say I believe what Jesus said, based on the Bible, and then say, forget what Jesus said. I think... I can believe whatever.. can I?
Then what would my answer mean?
I might as well say, I don't believe my religion has the truth.
However, you are not hoping for me to say that, are you?
