Straight up........ if your listeners don't know about your faith then it must be down to your communication. No?

A Catholic is someone baptized into the Catholic church or received into the Catholic church later in life through the sacrament of confirmation.

I would make a small correction, one is baptized into Christ, and because one is baptized into Christ and only then is one welcomed into the Catholic communion. If one had been baptized in a Protestant church and converted to Catholicism there would be no baptism required since the Church believes 'one baptism for the forgiveness of sins'.

I don't think converting to something else makes much difference. ;)
Well, I may be wrong, but I believe if you become a Hare Krishna or something, you have apostatized and are no longer considered a Christian or Catholic. Any educated Catholics want to chime in?

Humans are a human first.

If they wear a religious robe pertaining I represent. Today I would have no idea what religion they were unless they told me.

Wait a minute everyone is a human first.

A Catholic who converts to Hinduism is an apostate and is therefore excommunicated latae sententiae. However the Church believes that baptism is irrevocable. So an apostate who returns to the faith would not need to be 'rebaptized'. Thus you can never cease to be Catholic in terms of baptism even if you cease to be Catholic in terms of faith.
