Forbidden Republican Party of USA?

After the Bloodiest Riots in Washington DC, driven by Republican ideas, shall the Government blacklist the entire Republican party? It was a long time to have a 2-party system in the USA. It is time to go over the 1-party system?

I think it's more likely Trump's style conservatives split from the GOP and form their own party, which the GOP cuts ties with. But even more likely I think is that GOP retreat further centrist away from Trump and most long standing Republicans follow suit.

I can also see a possible schism forming among democrats while more young people realize that they're not actually the party of the left, and start forming more calls for a true social democratic party (like most countries have.)

I can see the possibility of a split in the Republican Party. I don't think it's a sure thing, but I think it's on the table now.

If it happens, then I think there will be some inclination on the part of 'moderate' Republicans and conservative Democrats to join up in the hope of creating a new majority party. I'm not sure how likely that is to happen. I sort of think it's only in the 'might happen' range of probabilities. More likely the Republican Party will split than it will split and then one part of it join up with some Dems.

By the way, so far as I can see the odds that anything will happen to truly reduce the polarity in the country seem infinitesimal so long as the radical right media sings to the nation in full voice. Unless some miracle causes them to change their tune, we have decades of polarity ahead of us. Assuming we can survive it for that long.

First good step might be to not let "Trump" become president again (I read Ivanka had ambitions)
'It's an insult': Claims President is outraged Ivanka Trump will attend Joe Biden's inauguration - NZ Herald

Compare it with Germany. No Hitler no war (at least since 1945)

Someone the other day -- a political commentator -- was saying he thought Trump would soon be ousted from the Republican Party. Maybe. Anything could happen. But I have to weigh "anything could happen" against the fact that in 2016, Trump ran against over a dozen prominent Republicans who each and every one of them sounded the alarm that Trump would tear down the country if elected, then pitched themselves into beating him in the primary. Trump won. Trump won, then proceeded to take over the Party. Prominent Republicans overnight turned sycophants. At his impeachment, only one Republican Senator -- Romney -- failed to 'look the other way'. Only Romney voted to convict.

Yes, was not easy to go against Trump, because he "killed" everyone (fire them or worse). So, Trump has done a lot of brainwashing among the Republican party. We all know how difficult it is to deprogram such people. So, maybe best the coming decade we don't get Republican again, until Trump's effect has been worn out.

We need more parties; not fewer.

Why stop at one?

Send them both packing.

In countries with militant democracies that would have already happened. The US simply lacks a system that is capable to protect itself.

Conservatives will stay put, they'll see a bunch of political attack ads lying and vote accordingly like usual.
They don't have the leadership to do anything on their own.
