... it was Trump.

The Washington Post has just released a story - with accompanying audio clip of the phone call - of Trump demanding Georgia's Secretary General to revise the vote counts so that he would win.

Here's hoping this incident gets handled properly... i.e. with criminal charges for Trump.
Good grief, Assuming it is not a bogus tape, it's good if it is; I knew he was corrupt but this takes it to a new level

Trumpian trolls are typically hungry for any kind of attention, I just let them starve for attention. They are quickly becoming so irrelevant.

I don't support Trump and NEVER did.

I support the president of the United States and not the quisling media that borked him or the traitors that make treasonous and seditious statements.

What do I know. Even though Obama was the worst president we've had I supported him as well.

No doubt our next president will be yet another step down.

So is there anybody you might support? Or do you just dislike everybody on principle who would choose to run for such a high office?

There is no depth to which he won't sink to including making statements that help the Democrats in the Georgia runoffs.

Per the NYT:

WASHINGTON — President Trump pressured Georgia’s Republican secretary of state to “find” him enough votes to overturn the presidential election and vaguely threatened him with “a criminal offense” during an hourlong telephone call on Saturday, according to an audio recording of the conversation.

Mr. Trump, who has spent almost nine weeks making false conspiracy claims about his loss to President-elect Joseph R. Biden Jr., told Brad Raffensperger, the state’s top elections official, that he should recalculate the vote count so Mr. Trump, not Mr. Biden, would end up winning the state’s 16 electoral votes.

“I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have,” Mr. Trump said during the conversation, according to a recording first obtained by The Washington Post, which published it online Sunday. The New York Times also acquired a recording of Mr. Trump’s call.

The president, who will be in charge of the Justice Department for the 17 days left in his administration, hinted that Mr. Raffensperger and Ryan Germany, the chief lawyer for secretary of state’s office, could be prosecuted criminally if they did not do his bidding.

“You know what they did and you’re not reporting it,” the president said during the call. “You know, that’s a criminal — that’s a criminal offense. And you know, you can’t let that happen. That’s a big risk to you and to Ryan, your lawyer. That’s a big risk.”

... So, the sitting President, who is in charge of the Dept of Justice, threatened Republican election officials in GA with both criminal and political consequences if they don’t “find” more votes for Trump.

Astounding. Unsurprising. Disgraceful. And criminal.

I'm afraid one of Trump's lasting legacies will be how far he has gone towards normalizing the sort of behavior he's come to being known for.

What? It was a perfect call! Beautiful, did you hear it?
He'd get impeached again if he wasn't already leaving town soon.
